This is similar to my story. My best friend had gotten them. While we were playing a game, I was messing around with his glasses. When I tried them on, I realize how clear everything looked. And I realized, I needed glasses...

It's weird how you don't realize and then after you get them, you don't know how you got by without them.

I'm sorely lacking on mixers. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can make? I have orange juice, pineapple juice, peach juice, and milk. These are my alcohol choices.

Yeah. I didnt realize I needed them until about a year ago. I was sitting in my car with my girlfriend and I took her glasses from her, just playing around. When I put them on I was like holy crap, I can see the actual blades of grass and that license plate number over there! Now I would have trouble driving at night without them.

I have probably spent close to 90% of all my time with my girlfriend since August. She is a teacher and mostly works from home now. I took a year off work to get my masters done faster and my school has been all online since the pandemic.

Aside from my gray hairs, I still look very young. I will never be able to grow a full beard. I've had people say I still look like I'm in high school, though I think that is a strech. I think I look 23 or so.

Seeing the spectrum of how people you know age through their 20s is interesting. Some people look exactly as you remember and then there are the ones who got bald at 25.

I knew someone who was starting to bald while we were in high school. I got my first gray hair in junior high. My family grays very early. It's been very gradual for me, luckily. I'm 31 and still have predominately black hair with grays sprinkled in.

I didn't go to my high school reunion, but I would like to one day. I still have close friends from high school that I talk to regularly. Some of my friends I've known since elementary.

I get fairly attached to hoodies and shirts, but they also come and go eventually.

I have favorite shirts and stuff I wear, but as soon as I get something new that I like, I can easily move on to wearing that more often. I got some good hoodies for Christmas, including a Run the Jewels one.

You don't see many friendships like that. I had a friend I knew in daycare but we kind of lost touch around highschool. The longest running friendships I have now are friends I've known since 5th grade or so.

Im sorry, and I know this is really hard to hear, but youre not a real 90s kid. You being born in 89, by the time you at least 5 and able to actually remember stuff, the 90s were halfway over. You werent staying up late watching Snick, you were having to go to bed at 8 on a Saturday. You might feel like you lived it, but the most I will give you is that you lived it vicariously through other real 90s kids.

Reality is objective, the perception of that reality is what's subjective. Whether or not you perceive a wall as being there, you're not going to be able to walk through it. Beyond that, there are a lot of possible facets to the question. For something like vision and hearing, that's clearly tied to biological functions. For interpretation of events (and even an arrangement of events), that tends to be absurdly open-ended. There's no unbiased way to report history, because so much of it is subjective ranging from what people choose to focus on (and what gets omitted) to how the events are framed, etc.

The movie wasn't terrible, it just tried to condense an entire season into 90 minutes, which was a baffling decision. The worst part of the movie is that there were no sequels, so it just exists as a standalone on top of everything else.

I think the movie just felt so awkward. It didn't have the charm of the cartoon series. But yeah, it was pretty much doomed after they decided to put a whole season into one movie. I was hoping that the Netflix series might do it justice but last I heard was that the original writers have left the project due to creative differences.
