Not yet but I probably should. My vision at night isn't that great. Also with some form of amblyopia I guess it's inevitable I'll have them one day.

Since late elementary school. I think my prescription has changed once in the last 24 years? I don't even remember when exactly that was, but it was sometime in the early 2000s. I also tried contacts, and my eyes really, truly hated having them.

I'm nearsighted (anything up close is crystal clear, but fine detail is lost past 10 or so feet), but I almost never wear my glasses unless there's something somewhat distant that I want/need to get a better look at.

Contacts but sometimes I have to wear glasses since my eyes seem to not be able to take on the contacts. Which is why long term contact wearers still need glasses on hand to wear on occassion.

Yes, had to get them to get my drivers license. I remember when I was learning to drive I nearly ran over a man and his dog who were just walking on the side of the road. I didn't see them at all so I didn't swerve. That and the fact that I couldn't read road signs were good indications that I needed glasses.

I needed glasses since I was 10 but didn't end up getting any till I was 19. Since then my vision has drastically gotten worse and although my current set of lenses is very strong I've gotten used to them and need a new set. This is the longest I ever had one prescription though, because it was a huge step over the previous one. But at this point I'm debating laser surgery (finances allowing) because this rinse and repeat thing of expensive glasses and eye exams is tiresome.

Yep, since junior high. Just ordered a new, better pair from my doctors office yesterday. I like wearing them, it makes me feel smarter when Im not and makes things look not blurry.

I have very poor vision. Have to put something about an inch in front of my eyes to see it properly without glasses; I can't read without them and can't see facial features.

not normally but wearing them at times when needed which becomes more often as I grow older.
Used to wear while driving, now often wear while gaming as I can't read the tiny text on my TV screen without.
Also often wear reading glasses while working with a computer.

No. I don't need them and I look fucking awful with any sort of glasses, sun or otherwise. I couldn't do it even if I had to. I'd get contacts or laser surgery or whatever it took.

nope, they told me I have better than 20/20 vision last time I went to an eye doctor but that was at least 5 years ago

Yeah. I didnt realize I needed them until about a year ago. I was sitting in my car with my girlfriend and I took her glasses from her, just playing around. When I put them on I was like holy crap, I can see the actual blades of grass and that license plate number over there! Now I would have trouble driving at night without them.

Only for small text at long distances.

This is similar to my story. My best friend had gotten them. While we were playing a game, I was messing around with his glasses. When I tried them on, I realize how clear everything looked. And I realized, I needed glasses...

It's weird how you don't realize and then after you get them, you don't know how you got by without them.

No, which is odd considering everyone in my family has horrible vision but me. Like even the fact I made it to 10 years old without needed glasses is odd, let alone 37. I am tempted once everything opens up again to go to an eye doctor (haven't been to one in 20 years) but even then I can't see them saying I need perscription glasses. Maybe reading glasses at most.
