the 138k one is also a case of specific meaning. the incident did happen. it was also a mistake and immediately corrected. there's a big difference between lying about something not happening and lying/not being aware of the full story behind it. and i'm not sure you're getting what i'm using this as an example of.

It
Was
A
Lie

yes there was a mistake in a single website so in that sense it was a thing that occurred. But WHAT occurred is that as part of a vote update (in which votes were added for everyone) there was a mistake where their website added too many Biden votes.

And then they corrected the error by reducing Bidens vote total with an update to only his votes.

And so the before/after screenshots were posted in reverse. If they were posted in order you would think that democrats might say "Hey why did they take away Biden's Votes???" Because in chronological order that's how it would have appeared. But instead their order was deliberately flipped to paint a false narrative.

I know what your were trying to do by using that example as a "thing that actually occurred and was later resolved by follow up information" but even in the context of it "occurring" it was predicated on lies.

And that is why I feel comfortable including it with the other lies, because it was not a "real discrepancy that got resolved".

i know, i explicitly said this here and in other places. brought it up to say hey, this actually was fishy. it was also an error. those two go hand in hand - if you can't tell apart an error that's 10x wrong from its legitimate numbers, you've got blinders on and should fix that because you're seeing only what you want to see at that point, which is the same accusation to those who find conspiracies in everything.

"Hey there was any update where Biden got 128k votes and nobody else got any" and "they didn't allow observers" and "the voting machines changed all the votes" are the same, Wang. They are the same.

They are all lies.
They are being shared by the same people.
None of them have any supporting evidence and all of them have ample opposition evidence.

They are the same and they need to be treated the same like the fabricated bullshit that they are.

A stance of "this idea is disputed" gives any one of them far more credibility than they deserve.

On that Philadelphia tweet the notice should read "reports confirm that elections observers from both sides WERE allowed to observe the ballots being counted".

Or something more correctly direct as a response to the lies being presented.

I back red on this one.

He's not denying anyone's right to block Wang or himself or anyone else of they are tired of reading arguments, he's just personally saying that he won't let the BS slide because the fight isn't about the person whose mind had already been made up (wang) as much as its preventing some random other soul from seeing the BS, and seeing it not get ridiculed and eviscerated the way it deserves and in their mind it normalizes and semi-legitimizes the BS.

.

If I went in front of a biology class after the professor gave a lecture on photosynthesis and I shouted about how I believed that trees don't convert carbon dioxide to oxygen, they actually convert sulfur to Orange juice... You wouldn't call that "disputed" you would be aware that the professor said correct things and I said incorrect things.

Also I legitimately can't believe the 128,000 are actuality still being discussed. The 128k votes had nothing to do with official state reported information, it was a clerical error by one website (of many) that were updating the totals on their website. It is actually a nothingburger.

If you see someone circulating the link about how "benford's law proves that biden's results are fraudulant" please call them a moron and link them to this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etx0k1nLn78

tl:dw is that the data behind the visuals of "proof" have been cherry picked from a specific location (Chicago) that is misleading, and that based upon the size of precincts generally being of the same magnitude (resulting in a almost exclusively a 3 digit total of votes rather than a spread among 2, 3 and 4 digit results) means you would not expect a Bendford distribution. Trump's totals from Chicago only appeared to fit the distribution because he got so few votes in chicago than many of his precinct results began with a 1 or a 2 because they were literally in the 10s and 20s.

Just because you keep saying it doesn't make it true.

We accepted that by the number trump won the election. The legal votes and the electoral college victories were in his favor. This was not seriously disputed.

But because "nuance" is a thing that exists you can acknowledge that trump won and ALSO acknowledge that there was a legitimate attempt by Russia to influence our election.

Succeeded on Rabbit (target was 15) and then failed on owl (target 19). It's probably for the best because I'm still not even halfway maxed on the stats. I need the upgraded sweet spot on owl because I could make contact with every pitch but the zig zag pattern means a lot of them are glancing blows that dont make it out of the park.

I don't disagree that post-secondary education in the US is completely broken. I read up on tuition costs in the US versus Canada and I was shocked. I was able to pay for my 4 year Bachelors without any government loans just by working a part time job while going to school. What I have a hard time grappling with is why smart, hard working people need to pay off the debts of people that just wanted to party for 4 years. It's the exact opposite of a meritocracy.

And many people don't like welfare because there's that small percentage of people who abuse it.

But you don't abandon doing a good thing just because a select few will use that good thing to receive something that they didn't deserve.

I appreciate it but I have to admit I would be incensed by Republicans doing this

His tweet about moving doesn't specifically state it's "to vote", but it should be noted that Georgia laws allow voting as soon as you move to the state. So as long as he is a resident by December 7th to register he can lawfully vote in the runoff.

But reading his call to action to me at least it sounds like he wants to participate in canvassing and getting out of state volunteers in place to support the candidates and not specifically to vote in the Georgian runoffs.

But yes, I imagine Andrew and Evelyn will probably vote as it will be legal

Do we really think NC is in play? And if so is that just based upon the potential for ballots to trickle in until Nov 12th?

Because if that's the case isn't it still possible for NC Senate to flip as well? The vote differential of 96,689 isn't that much different than Trump's lead of 76,737.

I'm not convinced either is truly in play, but it seems silly for it to be one and not the other. And NYTimes has NC reported at 95% reported for the presidential and 94% reported for the senate race. What is factoring into the missing 5/6%? Is that reporting from in person votes on election day or is that just an estimate of what may-or-may-not trickle in by mail?

https://www.justice.gov/usao-mdpa/pr/letter-luzerne-county-bureau-elections

Since Monday, FBI personnel have conducted numerous interviews and recovered and reviewed certain physical evidence. While at this point the inquiry remains active, based on the limited amount of time before the general election and the vital public importance of these issues, I will detail the investigators initial findings.
The FBI has recovered a number of documents relating to military ballots that had been improperly opened by your elections staff, and had the ballots removed and discarded, or removed and placed separately from the envelope containing confidential voter information and attestation. Specifically, a total of nine (9) military ballots were discovered to have been discarded. Seven (7) of those ballots when discovered by investigators were outside of any envelope. Those ballots were all cast for presidential candidate Donald Trump. One (1) of those seven (7) ballots was able to be identified to an envelope that was recovered, and thereby potentially tied to a specific voter. Two (2) military ballots that had been discarded were previously recovered by elections staff, reinserted into what appeared to be their appropriate envelopes, and then resealed. Therefore, the votes cast on those two (2) ballots are unknown. Thus, is appears that three (3) of the nine (9) recovered ballots can be potentially attributed to specific voters. Six (6) of the ballots were simply removed and discarded, and cannot be attributed to a specific voter at this time.

In addition to the military ballots and envelopes that were discarded and recovered as detailed above, investigators recovered four (4) apparently official, bar-coded, absentee ballot envelopes that were empty. Two (2) of those envelopes had the completed attestations and signatures on the reverse side. One (1) envelope with a handwritten return address was blank on the reverse side. The fourth empty envelope contains basic location information and the words affirmation enclosed on the reverse side. The majority of the recovered materials were found in an outside dumpster.

wheeeeee

edit:
and yes, i realize this was posted September 24th.
but i'm seeing this floating around again so you can expect to see more of this and other similar documents as evidence of fraud.

Is this for the 9 ballots that were "100% for trump" that were in the wrong envelopes?

Like I thought the issue was that these were ballots that were (incorrectly) placed into "ballot request" envelopes and were thus opened.

Or is this for something else?
