Corrik7 07/26/20 2:06:34 AM #1 | Garrett Foster, a husband who brought his quadriplegic wife to the protests regularly, was shot and killed during a protest in Austin. The shooter drove through a red light into the crowd. The crowd continued to smack his vehicle. The driver rolled down his window firing 3 shots (though some reports say 8 shots rang out) killing Garrett. The driver then drove off. The driver has been detained and cops have said it is a homicide. Garrett Foster was open carrying a rifle, leading many to suspect that the suspect may try to claim some sort of self-defense regarding the situation. The incident was witnessed via an Uber driver camera feed and live streams in the area. I won't link the footage, but the incident can be seen on some videos. --- Xbox Live User Name - Corrik Currently playing: Spider-Man (PS4), Quantum Break (X1) |

How do you think they rebuild these things? Taxes for government buildings. Maybe they move some funds over from health services to fund the rebuilds. Maybe they tax everyone more and low income families have to choose between going to the hospital or not due to the crunch. Corporations raise prices for the costs to rebuild. Or maybe they don't rebuild them and people lose their jobs due to their workplace being gone now. There is an indirect cost that can affect human lives by what is going on. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There is a simple solution. Don't burn things down. Don't attack people. Those are not protests. Those are riots. I don't know exactly what the studies say.I think you can argue that NYC has already run the gamut on the virus spread. Their deaths are way proportionally higher than everywhere else (California has officially more cases now and Florida will pass it in a day or two). NY is reopening yet they haven't really seen any rises. I think it is quite likely NJ and NY might have already hit truly significant numbers of spread and have reduced risk now.
