My whole friend circle in college fell victim to it, and at one point I was living in a 4 bedroom apartment with 3 of my old friends and all 3 of them were mainlining H by the end of it except me. Because I have lines I don't cross I didnt even take my lortabs after surgery, that entire bottle is probably still in the back of my grandma's medicine cabinet lol. They said they needed mail and shit which I didn't think about because I had never changed the address on my license before and when I first got licensed I don't remember them needing that. So when they told me that, I just told them to keep the address the same because I wasn't about to go home to grab my utility bills and wait another goddamn 3 hours. So the address on my license is a place I haven't lived at since 2008 lol. I wonder if that could also be a reason the bank won't accept my license? Because the address doesn't match? Regardless, you can only renew within 6 months days of the expiration date so I can't do that until March of 2022. If I went get a new ID today I'd still have to renew in about a year and a half so fuck that noise. Guess I'll go to the bank in person soon to deposit the thing and hopefully talk to someone that can maybe bypass that stupid ID thing. I've mobile deposited hundreds of checks over the years for various reasons even though my actual paycheck is direct deposit. Today I got a $25 check in the mail from the hospital. Dunno what for its been forever since I've been to that particular hospital but maybe I overpaid for a visit a long time ago? Anyways, I went to mobile deposit it, and then suddenly my bank's app told me "welcome to your first time with our mobile deposit system" or something like that, and asked me to take a picture of my ID to verify my identity. I said whatever, and I uploaded it. My ID is over 4 years old (we renew every 6 years in LA) so it's a little worn and faded. And the app said they couldn't read my barcode so it won't let me deposit the damn check So now I guess in order to mobile deposit in the future, I have to go get a new license 2 years before I even renew. Which I mean, renewing would probably cost around $25 these days so I gotta pay to have the ability to deposit my $25 check? Generally if you leave them alone they won't bother you. They'll still dig through your trash and scavenge for food but they'll do their best to avoid people. As far as petting and playing with them, a wild one will either run away or perceive it as a threat and yeah they may attack you in response if it can't get away.
