I knew, and still know nothing about Scott Pilgrim outside of the movie. It was just so different you can't help but to love it. His friendship with his roommate is one of my favorite parts. That scene where he comes through the front door drunk, throws his keys at the wall and faceplants on the bed instantly gets me every time. There's far more depth to Wallace in the comics, like you see how he starts to dislike Scott as a roommate and slowly pushes him out because of how self absorbed Scott is, when he pretty much only roomed with Scott because he thought he was hot and didn't realize how much of a freeloader he was lol CanuckCowboy posted... I saw metric live not that many years ago and could not believe how fucking cute Emily Haines was. She's gotta be in her mid 50s now, she was pretty old when they started to break through.
