In my situation, this girl and I had lunches together, went to dinner, spent Valentines Day together, and she even cooked for me to celebrate my birthday but she still pulled a I never liked you like that. She told all her friends and family that I was some amazing guy she met and she was planning all these events with me. Then, the very next day, she pulled a 180. It's better to ask what's not wrong with Kingdom Hearts 3. Convoluted plot, cringe worthy dialogue, awful writing, the omission of several series staple features, missed opportunity with some of the worlds, one of the worst worlds in the entire series, all the story taking place at the end of the game(poor pacing), annoying attractions in gameplay, etc.

I've replayed many of the KH games multiple times throughout my life. I like the series a lot. I will never replay Kingdom Hearts 3.

I have a bad feeling Persona 6 won't be very good. Hashino, the director of Persona 3 4 and 5, left to make that new studio currently working on Project Re Fantasy. Plus Persona 5 gave Atlus its first brush with huge mainstream success (at least in terms of what they were used to before). Also, they've always struggled with HD development and having to make a 4k game fully from scratch will probably be tough on them.

Persona 5 has a lot of issues that need to be ironed out. Maybe another director can figure out how to make the addition of party members feel more organic like in P3, make social links work this time around, better writing in general, etc.

how does it feel knowing the doctors who "treated" you are probably pulling in six figures and living a life of luxury and do you dream of becoming like that one day?

Its still my ultimate goal to enter the medical field in the pursuit of helping other people. If I were to become a doctor and I failed my patients due to incompetence or anything such, I would be incredibly disappointed in myself.

I do not think that bill was worth the treatment for myself and others especially since many patients there were regulars. I think the psychiatrist I conversed with and some of the therapists did a very poor job. However, there are plenty of psychiatrists and therapists who do exceptional jobs. I wish I was in a situation where I could praise people like that. The free treatment I sought out had an amazing therapist. He went above and beyond for me even though I paid nothing for services. I know hes probably not getting paid a whole lot but its people like that in the medical field who deserve the high salaries.

Ultimately, I do not think people should be paid well if they do poor jobs. It feels wrong knowing what I do know about these psych wards and not being able to do much about it. All I can do is spread awareness which doesnt amount to much at times. Hopefully, the U.S. can take more significant action regarding health care in general. Its a pipe dream, though.

You d9nt have health insurance?

My health insurance covered most of the $3,000 bill from my three hours of sitting in a bed at the public hospital before being transported to the psych ward. My health insurance should help with this $10,000 medical bill but I've had many problems with coverage before. Speaking of the $3,000 bill, the hospital staff, when asked, were unsure with one doctor saying I would have to pay the full amount. Thankfully, she was wrong. I think my luck is just really bad.

As long as I'm not paying substantial for me out of pocket, everything should be okay. I'll just have to be extremely careful with my money from now on since no job for a while unless I decide to work at Amazon.

Your whole experience is straight up horror novel-esque and my stay wasn't anything like this where I was, but...

I'm sorry but this just made me lol. Rest of the story is shit though and makes me afraid of being committed. The guards will beat you? What the hell?

I'll admit. The van part was funny looking back at it. And yeah, my roommate went into detail on how the guards would beat patients who lashed out. He was beaten himself during some of his previous stays. Some of the other mental health psych wards in the area are far worse when it comes to abuse from what I've been told. The one I was sent to is supposed to be one of the better wards as the worst you usually deal with is a nurse treating you inhumanely.

One facility named Haven was at the center of discussion. Everyone admitted there called it a Hell on earth.

Houston posted...
And your still expected to pay? Are there laws about that? What were the circumstances of your admittance if you don't mind me asking?

Doesn't seem right to have to pay for something you didn't agree to unless it was 100% necessary to save your life or something like that. Do you have any recourse in fighting the bill or not paying?

A 911 operator was informed that I had thoughts of suicide and responded accordingly. I was on my college campus at the time so the campus police responded and found my whereabouts. They searched my vehicle and discovered a pistol sealed away in a case. It was then where I was admitted to the nearest hospital and taken the psych ward hours later. I informed the staff that there was no concrete plan and I carried the pistol around just as much for protection due to a lot of ongoing issues from another individual making threats of physical violence against me at the time. My family did everything they could to not have me admitted to a psych ward but the 72 hour hold was set since a ward decided to take me rather quickly.

The person who reported me did so because they thought I was in danger even though I told them time and time again that I would be fine and I just needed to focus on studying for final exams first. I definitely do not think I should have been there. I can agree with seeking some form of treatment via therapy appointments but the 72 hour hold did not seem totally necessary especially when even the other staff questioned why I was a patient compared to almost everyone else.

After reading about the laws of Ohio regarding this, I haven't come across anything detailing the expectations of pay yet. I've only come across the criteria an individual has to meet in order to be commit involuntary and that you are free to walk after a 72 hour hold which is what I decided to do. I do have family who are willing to help me with payments after I explained the situation and I am very lucky for that.

In April of 2019, I was admitted to a behavioral health campus offering mental health services. Glad I finally got the bill over a year later in almost August of 2020. The bills covers room, food, therapy, prescription medicine, transportation, etc. These services are supposed to be exemplary according to the staff except they are not. During my stay, it was awful.

When I was being taken to the health campus via a medical transportation van, one of the staff members inside the van was full of gas because he could not stop relieving himself. It was a 20 minute ride so I had to lay there and inhale his putrid smells. That should have told me that I was in for a horrible experience. Upon arrival, it was a disorienting experience as several people surrounded me on the stretcher asking various questions. All of them were talking at the same time. Afterwards, I was taken to a room and told to strip all clothing to make sure I was not hiding anything illegal. Standard procedure for all patients. However, the inspection is conducted by whomever is available to do it among the staff including the guards. I would imagine it's uncomfortable for a woman to be told to take off her clothing in front of a male guard. In my case, I almost had to do the inspection with only women present.

Then, I'm given clothing to wear and given a schedule for the next three days. The layout of the facility was pretty depressing. The two halls leading away from the "hub" to the rooms were all white. All the windows were bolted shut. Inside the rooms were two beds, two shelves, and a bathroom with no door so I hope you do not mind shitting in front of your roommate if you have one. I only had a roommate for one day. His name was Giovanni and he was pretty cool. Coincidence that the only two black guys were roomed together but I digress. He could tell this was my first stay so he gave me some helpful tips such as do whatever the staff tells you so that you get out as fast as possible. Don't act out or risk being potentially beaten by the guards. Eat the horrible food or else they'll keep you longer. Go to the time wasting therapy sessions so show that you care. Stay away from the other patients at all times. He claimed his admittance was foolishness as people thought he was suicidal for walking on the side of a highway when he was just trying to get home. I liked him.

Anyways, I played ball. The head psychiatrist, Dr. Crane(another coincidence given my username), was a piece of work. He never helped me at all. He asked of my status in high school and college. Once he found out I was one of the more popular people in my high school graduating class and a student that is recognized by quite a few on campus as I stick out, he was more interesting in talking about how many women I bang. Not even kidding. That's all we talked about. The other patients disliked him so he must have clowned around with them as well. He told one girl who was addicted to drugs to just "stop taking them". I wish I was making this shit up.

As for therapy, one of my group sessions was centered around play-doh and how relaxing it feels in our hands. In another session, the lights were turned off and we were told to look at the wall since a star projector was turned on. It was supposed to be relaxing. Another group session involved an older gentleman who would play the guitar and sing to us. For downtime between sessions, we had coloring books and some severely torn fiction books. There was a TV but most of the channels were blocked.

Many of the nurses and nursing students asked why I was there when interacting with me as I seemed completely stable. It only seemed that way because many of the patients were severely mentally unstable. Many of the patients who could talk weren't able to hold actual conversations as they repeated themselves, talked to people who were hallucinations, would only converse about the subject of their obsession, etc. There were also patients who couldn't talk at all. Think in Batman Arkham Asylum, the patients in the Penitentiary who could only gurgle and scream. There were patients like that but many of them were confined to their padded rooms since they had violent tendencies. Only the peaceful ones were allowed to roam around the ward.

All in all, it was a horrible experience for me. I'm sure there are mental health facilities that are great in the country of the United States. From what I heard, the one I stayed at has become slightly better since my exit. However, I'll never go back. Wish the bill didn't come in the middle of a pandemic when job availability is already limited but that's life for you.

that is quite literally all there is, start to finish, and you experience all of that within the first five hours. there is zero mission variety, it's always a walk-and-talk/follow these tracks into a combat encounter and while the writing is nice in spots, it is mostly just as rote and uninspired as the gameplay

the bisexual murder grandma is not enough to carry the late ps3-era open world gameplay that tsushima is saddled with

This logic is flawed as you can apply it to many games. Most games introduce the "core experience" within the first few hours and proceed to build upon them from there. For instance, gaining several different stances in the game to deal with enemy types or gaining new tools to mess with your enemies. For you to say the player experiences everything the game as to offer gameplay-wise within the first few hours is a straight lie.

>zero mission variety.

While many missions are combat oriented, you also have missions that are entirely stealth focused. I just completed a side quest where you had to stealth the entire time and not engage in combat.

>bisexual murder grandma

Not sure what Masako's sexual orientation has to do with anything but please take my advice and play the video games you shit on instead of watching your favorite nobody Twitch streamer play through them for you. Perhaps then you'll have legitimate criticism as there are flaws with the game. However, you failed to name any significant one. If you criticized the rudimentary stealth mechanics, dumb A.I., noticeably awful lip syncing for Japanese voice option, or lack of story/character interaction changes if you played solely as the honorable samurai or dishonorable Ghost, then I'd happily agree with you.

First and foremost, I did not quote the message nor am I "hung up" on it as you claim. You may have me mixed up as I was not the one who initially refuted you. As I said before, you should have been more specific in your initial statement. If you had taken the necessary precautions, then this would have never happened. Again, not my fault you resorted to a very broad statement. Next time, add a qualifier to your words such as "Almost no one said this" or something of the sort in order to easily cover yourself. "No one said this" is too broad of a statement to refute as I've reiterated.

All that happened here was that you got caught during happy time. Instead of admitting to your mistake, you're making weird excuses such as "I was just looking at it, Ma". As the other user who initially refuted you said, maybe you should restate your post and pick your words carefully this time. There's nothing wrong with that. Word choice matters significantly.

the people only playing cod and fifa are not the same ones complaining about xbox not having enough jrpgs. youre yelling at people who do not exist.

Since I have to spell it out for you, what I said it was its nice that Xbox is getting more games but the people I personally know never care because they stick to the same two or three games yet they complain about how gaming is dead because nothing is coming out. Before the pandemic happened, I used to hang out with these guys very often.

Im not sure why they dont exist but I suppose youre constantly hovering over me in real life, huh? Do you know what I had for breakfast today, too?

how about you let ppl enjoy their call of duty if they want?

They can enjoy whatever they want. Just dont complain about no games when you dont even try to branch out. Thats all Im saying.

decent announcement for the pre show:

Dragon Quest XI S coming to Xbox and game pass in December.

Oh, very nice. Too bad 90% of the people I know on Xbox dont care about this at all. For all the good announcements Xbox gets, everyone I know who picks the Xbox as their main console stick to Cowadooty and sports games. You cant get them to play anything else and its a shame.

Then, these guys will have the nerve to say no good games have come out in years when they dont bother trying anything new.

If you're confused as to why some streams start one hour earlier, the Dorito Pope is holding a Pre-Show, I believe. From my understanding, the main show is nothing but games.

Confirmed titles:

  • Halo Infinite - 343 industries: A first look at campaign gameplay.
  • Tell me Why - Dontnod via XGS Publishing.
  • Psychonauts 2 - Double Fine
Rumored to be shown:

  • Playground's first Action-RPG, also heavily rumoured to be a new Fable game.
  • The Initiative's first project.
  • A new RPG made by Obsidian.
  • Some sort of Third-party presence (non-Xbox Games Studios games).
  • Everwild (Rare)
Currently announced projects by Xbox Game Studios:

  • Halo Infinite (343 industries)
  • Tell me Why (Dontnod - Global Publishing team)
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator (Asobo - Global Publishing team)
  • Age of Empires 4 (Relic Games - World's Edge)
  • Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition (Forgotten Empires - World's Edge)
  • Gears Tactics for Xbox consoles (Splash Damage - Coalition)
  • Psychonauts 2 (Double Fine)
  • Wasteland 3 (inXile Entertainment)
  • Everwild (Rare)
  • Battletoads (Rare - Dlala)
  • Hellblade 2 (Ninja Theory)
  • Project Mara (Ninja Theory)

And now we wait.

Kanye needs help. Its not a publicity stunt. Good on the Kardashians for trying to actually help him. It takes a lot of patience and support to help people with mental illness especially if they dont think they need the help. Plenty of people throw loved ones in mental institutions and cut contact.

Hopefully, he learns some awesome coping strategies and take medication if he needs to. He needs to be well for his family and himself.
