I'm still split on TWICE.

I enjoyed the most recent work, but the thought of their encore performances and how that kinda paints a picture of the legitimacy of vocal talent....ehh. I'm sure half of it is just psychological, but I wouldn't be surprised if JYP's talent mold was something else during that generation. It's not just a cringe on behalf of their group, but the industry where there's still outside eyes questioning how manufactured everything is. To have one of the most prominent groups currently like this is kinda embarrassing. I say this with all due respect, I'm not trying to hate on them. It's just kinda hard to ignore.

ITZY can show up like all the time, but with TWICE it's Neyeon, Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and even then, they sometimes get pitted with a higher pitch than they can handle. But it's also weird because during the pre-debut footage, it seemed most if not everyone could come through with their vocals.

I'm not a fan boy of them, but respect their body of work. This stuff isn't meant to be a contest, but reality is, it's very probable work ethic of a stateside artist is lacking vs. International artist.

Seinfeld had Jackie, but generally there was a pretty diverse spotlight on characters outside of of the core 4.

Something like Friends was more clumsy. That show was trying to depict a more social setting and one of Ross' girlfriends being black was seemingly forced and iirc it was a late season at that.

Compare that to Jerry going out with Winona. The whole episode was centralized on racism towards Native American's as well as making himself out as an example with the Asian mailman. Seinfeld decisively approached these things upfront and in a comprehensive fashion.

That again is why Seinfeld is infinitely better than Friends.

Boy Meets World realistically brought in Angela in HS when Shawn and Cory transfer into a different student body, and under the guise she moved around a lot with her military dad. Also, Cory had black friend in the first season but that didn't stick. The actress for Angela did call out some racist treatment from the core cast. Will/Eric and Danielle/Topanga apologized, Ben Savage apparently could be a racist.

The Nanny gets a bit of a pass. Fran was of a Jewish family, the Sheffield family was fresh from London, went to a preppy school since they were rich, and generally the company Maxwell was in as a theatre producer was presumably mostly white.

How I Met Your Mother was just close-minded
King of Queens, I didn't watch much, but isn't part of the prominent recurring cast a black guy? Core cast was a small family iirc so you couldn't just shove a different ethnicity in there.

Yep I totally stepped away from a consumerism lifestyle and left the 9-5 about 10 years ago

I make 30k a year, live in a small town in the mountains, work my dream job, am married and own a small place, and take 2-3 months off a year. I spend most of every day outside and have a lot of friends and community. I can answer any questions you want, it's kind of a broad philosophy.

All I'll say as my main point is: it really is as easy as saving a little money and then just doing it

I think it's the dream situation for a lot of people just make life simple. Either make just enough to sustain a passion on the side or find work that aligns with it. Live in a safe place and scrap unnecessary hassles.

If I told you the stove is hot, it could be hot or it can't. You can consider both outcomes, but which consequence is more concerning if you touch it?

In a given instance, a person may get the virus or they won't. Say everything you want about the odds and possibilities, but it's pretty silly to set the terms at waiting until they're in the emergency room with lacking accommodation. I mean go right ahead. If it's consequences that person will own and let's be honest, in today's dumbass society most people don't own up to anything that doesn't justify imposing that position on everyone else. And of course that can go both ways: no one can really make someone else wear a mask or not travel. One person is playing it safe; the other is acting out of fear in the guise of denial, and self-interest.

That's really the problem. The facts ("facts") can go against either side, but regardless: at this point it takes a real Flat Earther to outright deny the weight of this virus running without an established vaccine. There's this flawed logic revolving around the odds/risk, and lacking thought to if/when it does strike as reality. It seems people will only turn heel one they personally know someone who (or themselves) has a severe case, or dies. Pretty pathetic to wait until that point. Imagine basing all your decisions with that mode of thinking.

This is a thought that's bounced around for me. It might really be another phrase for "I'm not ready/fit for this", which has no shame to it.

Being "ready" for parenthood is almost an unrealistic thing. Things just work out to varying degrees by chance. I'm just trying to fill out the gaping holes of where I'm clearly not ready whether it be creating a new child or adoption.

I've literally had this conversation with my neighbhors. Here in the south they are all trumpers. They all genuinely believe its always blown out of proportion by the media and they all genuinely believe bill gates is up to no good. One of em mentioned the other day that Bill Gates had a suspicious talk about the possibility of a pandemic caused by a virus just a month before this broke out. And they said companies started working on vaccines in january. They put those 2 together and think this is driven by pharmaceuticals to make money.

I talk to these guys regularly, they don't say it blatantly but after an in depth conversation their inner thoughts start coming out and you can really notice how fucking stupid people are. Its impossible to tell with just superficial conversation. These are functioning people in society, engineers, first responders, small business owners. They are all fucked up Trumpers.

Anyone who brings up the name Bill Gates in a conversation about covid vaccines is fucking stupid.

They are afraid and unwilling to carry out due thought process.

I totally forgot where you live (just where you lived?).

At this point it's almost becoming worn out to react as that effort can be more invested into what you plan on doing for yourself going forward. When you think about it, no one at that stage has that fully figured out. My workplace/company is split, not just in perspective but effort is also mixed. I've accepted the reality it's just two things: people are afraid to make a based decision over the inconveniencies in their livelihood, or they're just too incompetent in being able to evaluate things.

I think it's because most of the drama isn't artificially manufactured. It feels earned.

Which, btw, is what I think a big aspect of this aura TC's talking about. People in Arrow or Flash or Supergirl all do shit solely to cause drama in the show.

I didn't watch Supergirl but Arrow season 6 was absolute bullshit and We Are the Flash + people randomly getting mad at Barry when he was clearly choiceless was insane garbage writing.

tbh I think a hybrid is a straight up essential now.
Renting a hybrid BMW 5-series arguably put me ahead of a lower-grade rental as I never had to refill after driving for like 6 hours almost non-stop. If I had that type of gain over the course of ownership, I'd be saving so much money.

Short answer is depends where you live and your work situation.
If you have a lot of charge stations (as you mentioned), and you don't necessarily have to recharge the moment you get to your workplace on a daily basis, it's a very considerable option. Really just map out the expected flow of your routines.

I'm not sure what to expect with Kai's upcoming solo. He's not a bad vocalist, but his range is limited. I can't recall when he could really back a high note.

I know for a while my friends were on the Purple bandwagon, but it's not like they experienced a plethora of pillows for comparison. I'm not sure anyone is really a pillow expert.
