AMD is also supposed to release new gpus this year, so later this year and early next year looking to be a good time to build a new pc. --- |

They'd still have their other sub stuff in what I heard, they'd just be getting rid of the needing a premium account for online play part. Who knows though, we'll see later this year when shit actually comes out. It could be a good move for them and it'd make for nice symmetry if they killed a trend they themselves started. I'm not getting any launch console, unless someone surprises me with one as a gift out of the blue. --- |

If they get rid of paying to play online and do full bc with all Xbox games both physical and digital, I think they'd have a very strong console that'd just need some all important exclusives. I completely agree that MS has shit the bed with their console naming. Xbox is a fine name, it's easy to remember and catchy enough. 360 was good enough for its time, but it kind of painted them into a corner and the names have only gotten worse. I think if they simply tweaked the series x to series 4 and then continued that naming scheme they'd be fine. --- |
