My dad briefly got aol in 1993 or so. But it was a long distance call. Pay by minute. So we didn't keep it long.

The first is my favorite in the series.

It's one of my all time favorite movies.

The premise of one man standing against a collapsing society and ultimately, failing, is one of my favorites. It's a pre-apocalypse movie. Which is one of my favorite themes. A World on the brink but not yet but soon to be doomed.

Emphasis on the action, low budget, and gritty. Watch the original Australian dub.

Mad Max boils and builds tension into a great climax. The critique that it is boring is fair, but I appreciate the tension personally and the building action. The movie feels like a fever dream punctuated by spasms of car chases and ultra violence.

Road Warrior has less thematic depth to me. I love the film and the climax car chase, but otherwise, it's not overly novel. Thunderdome would be much better if it was the only movie in the franchise. I like it, but it's bad compared to the rest.

Same here. I want to note I came into the series with Revelations. Got it like Summer 01 and then did Eternal Punishment soon after. Loved them.

I got 3 right when it was new and loved it. Got 4 and I liked it well enough. A little too bright but ok it was good.

I got 5 and lost interest really fast.

I'm in the process of moving between cities for work. I moved most of my things last weekend, and I drove back to get the rest this weekend. Yes I can afford a moving company, but this saves me money.

I booked a hotel in my local city. Drove five and half from the new one back. Went to check in and they denied it because my driver's license was local. I was stunned. I called up another hotel. They told me the same thing. Called up another. Said the same thing.

One of these hotels I stayed at for like a 10 days back in May/June when my AC was getting worked on. They didn't have a problem then. I eventually talked one of the hotels in letting me stay. I have access to the house, and I could have stayed there. But most of my stuff is gone. So, I really preferred staying in a hotel tonight.

Things is, I was paying with a credit card. They could have billed me for any damages.
