I am fine with marriage for the most part. As long the partner is fairly independent. I prefer more cat-like partner than a dog-like one.

I like the company and somebody to do things with and somebody to push and push me. It would be nice to have the extra income around too and to help with day to day drudgery. The worst that can happen is we would divorce and move on. You can't cut your losses and move on nearly as simply without some sort of moral albatross following you around.

I'm 36, work full time, and I have a graduate degree. I have a nice size amount of money saved and I could buy a house if I wanted to do so.

I am extremely skittish about having children. The moral burden of raising them correctly while also needing to rearrange my life to give them the proper care makes me uncomfortable. I had a happy up bringing, but I feel like it take a lot of work to keep my own life in order. It worries me I could not be reliable as a parent.

In short, it's likely a fear of commitment I pave over with a veneer of valuing my freedom. I ended things with a woman I likely was in love with enough to marry her over this issue during my early 30s. But I seriously value my freedom too.

Too many people seem to rush into it thinking it will fill a void in their lives. Not sure if that's the best reason to do it. I also think some folks must have a much stronger biological urge to *have kids now* than I do or something. I figure that urge paves over a lot of the debates about loss of freedom and commitment. Lots of my friends that have kids and good jobs never enjoyed the fun of having money and no kids. It's like the meme comic adventures of captain no-kids. It's somewhat accurate.

It killed my 64 year old father on Christmas day. My uncle, who was business partners with him, got very sick. My mother caught it from my father and barely got sick. 97 year old relative got it and barely got sick.

Since it struck my family, I have been much more anxious. I assumed my parents would get it due to their work in healthcare and retail business. But I never imagined it killing any of them.

I got the Pfizer one a 8 days ago. My arm got sort the second day but went away quick.

I'm told the second shot gives more side effects.

A medical disposable one has metal wire in it. You crimp it around your nose so it fits tightly there and under your eyes. This will help significantly with the fog issue.

My sister in law's grandmother caught it around the time my dad did. That woman is 97 years old and lived. My father was 64 and was finally thinking about retiring some. My mother is a cancer survivor and she barely got sick.

My father was deprived visitors for two weeks. he was awake and concsious in the ICU for 8 days before going on a ventilator. He died Christmas morning. My mother, brother, and sister in law were in the room for it but described the whole process as alien because it was a quarantine clean zone in a hospital. That is the most cruel part of all of this. Not cruel in a deliberate way, but in a it can't be helped way. They are forced to confront the disease alone, isolated from family, likely afraid, and struggling to advocate for themselves because they're on breathing machines.

My primary experience was playing a resto shaman in vanilla WoW and BC. I did MC, BWL, AQ (Up to Twin Emps) and half of Nax. I bailed fairly early in BC, after we finished doing Karazan and Grull.

I like being a healer because you're never hurting for a group. It's also really satisfying keeping people up, and keeping bad players alive. It's also fun to let people die if they're being stupid too often.

In my DND campaigns, I always like to run a cleric healbot of some sort sort too. For the same reasons.

Yes, it sometimes feel like whack-a-mole (looking at you 40 man raids). But it is really satisfying when you pull off some sort of clutch heal and basically save the fight for everybody else. DPS, no matter how high, requires seconds. Healers give you those seconds.
