Best thing would probably be the music. It's phenomenal in probably every one. Every game can be pretty divisive, and even in an installment one person doesn't particularly care for, the soundtrack is still likely to be exceptional.

Worst, I would also say the difficulty, or lack thereof. FF7 was one of the first ones I beat as a kid, and I managed to do it with only potions for healing l, and never had to use magic. They only got easier from there.

That was almost a decade later. The guy that vetoed it in Nintendo maybe wasn't there anymore. Maybe they didn't have to navigate some of the legal issues this game had as well.

The Banjo Kazooie remake came out on 360 in 2008. And Conker was even before that.

In an earlier interview, they said it was more about the movie and games being licensed by different companies and trying to secure the likeness of all the actors.

By the time they were working on this, EA already made a Goldeneye "spinoff" for PS2 and xbox without issue. Activision's remake also ended up on PS3 and 360.

Yeah, I don't get this. Nintendo doesn't own the IP, and would ultimately have no control over this project.

EON put in more strict rights issues after the surprise success of the game. There's references to other movies, likenesses of several real life actors, and different ownerships of the theme remixes. The Activision version had none of those, and was more in line with the current film requirements.

I know it's from some of the developers, but the rights issue with the film production company makes more sense.

They are completely independent from each other. Most of them don't even take place in the same world. You can start with any of them, and won't lose any plot devices.

If you start with the first one, start with one of the remakes on handheld or PS1. Do not start on NES, it's rough.

FF4 is generally considered a good place to start. It has all the fundamentals that pretty much every game has, and you can choose between multiple versions and remakes to fit any aesthetic preferences you have.

Another reason why that Disney-Fox sale should have never gone through.

The only other entity that was in the running to purchase them was Comcast. In that regard, Disney was still the better option between the two.

And they didn't just up and buy their competition. 20th Century Fox failed, and had to sell their assets. It wasn't just because they wanted the Marvel and Alien/Predator properties, they were one of the few media companies with enough money to afford it.

Yeah, N64 was incredible, and that console was my life, but when I got a PS1 a year and a half later, it just felt like it did a lot of things better. Mario 64 was groundbreaking and influential for 3D and free-roaming gameplay, but there wasn't a lot else afterwards that really wowed me or held up well.

Yeah, it sucks. I worked in retail for 10 years, and management is rarely satisfied with anything you do, and turnover rate there is high.

No, Robinhood can't be held liable. The company has been shitty as of late, but Robinhood did nothing to be "directly" responsible for someone's suicide. An out-of-court settlement is the best the family is going to get.
