I'm confused how that even works on the end of the credit card company. Wouldn't a return balance of nearly $100k for a charge that never happened freeze the card for suspicious activities considering the card's limit is probably like $500 bucks?

I don't get why participation in professional sports leagues is seen as like the holy grail of trans equality. There exist spaces in which the biological difference between cis and trans women matter, so to act like it doesn't matter in sports is just silly. We can accept that there is no difference socially in the grand majority of cases, but a space that does not include them does not mean it's discrimination.

I'd be fine with measures like canceling interest, lowering monthly payment amounts based on current income, and even maybe a percentage of "forgiveness," but poor financial planning does not need to mean you get something for free. If we eventually move to a free college system, then maybe that'll be something worth looking into at that time.

I'm wondering if they're holding off due to Nozawa. She's like 85 so she might not have it in her to do a full weekly anime series anymore. She's still doing that dumb Heroes series, but that's like one every three months for like five minutes a piece. With how hard they find it to replace VAs, it could be an internal struggle to decide if they want to recast her or not.

Just broadly saying "capitalism is X Y Z" lacks just as much nuance as the people going "socialism is communism." We can say "the American system has royally fucked up in some areas," but capitalism itself is the best system we've developed. Some percentage of humanity will inevitably suffer because a utopia is not possible in our current era. We may eventually have the technology and resources for a better way of doing things, but it's a pipedream to expect otherwise at this moment/

As long as its the intent of the creators, thats all that matters. Nobody should be dictating what the characteristics of the characters in the games need to be to appease some nonsense quota and nobody should be forcing creators to change aspects because they think they wont sell well. Nobody should bitch because the game doesnt have X and nobody should bitch because a writer made a gay character. That doesnt mean one cant criticize a story for lazy writing, but were in this you have to appease me or your product sucks mentality currently for some reason.

That's not a situation with a black and white answer. It's called balancing reality against expectations. Chances are, you're not going to be the one in a million to become a very successful artist/musician, but the right path can get you a decent job in the field where you'll be happy. You cannot bet everything on a lottery-type chance. You can become very well off with a lot of work, but if you hate the job with a passion, then it's all for nothing. You cannot go into a field in which you'll despise yourself in twenty years while remaining mentally healthy.
