$1000 a week or the Microwave of Dreams?

The microwave of dreams is an imaginary construct ive fantasized about for years. Instead of a numpad, it has letters. You type the food you want. Any food, any meal. Could be mcdonald's, could be a gourmet dinner. Could be poptarts. Anything that can fit in a large microwave could be materialized. You type what you want, hit start, and it materializes in a second. Whatever your preferred temperature, texture, etc, the microwave will get perfectly

Only you or your household can use the microwave. You can't make money off it, and neither can anyone you permit to use it

It has unlimited uses per day and you can freeze and store your meals if you choose

Money. You can buy pretty much everything you'd need, so it'd only be beneficial if you somehow consumed more than $52k in food per year.

The microwave makes it unnecessary to have a freezer, fridge, oven, a toaster, any pots & pans, a blender, or any cooking tools in general. Hell, you wouldnt need a or pantry or even a kitchen.

Why don't you just say a food replicator from Star Trek? Because that's what it is.

This is a tough one to be honest. I would just be afraid of getting super fat because I would essentially have unlimited food of any type I wanted whenever I wanted. I would honestly probably pick the food replicator. I mean the amount of time you would save alone from not having to grocery shop, cook, do dishes would be worth a lot. Not to mention not needing a regular microwave, fridge, oven, and the money saved from electricity. Then the actual money in food/booze you are saving is a lot. You would be saving thousands of dollars a year.

Microwave. I'll already be at minimum saving a few hundred bucks from top tier quality food.

No time wasted preparing meals. Some of the best food takes days to prepare. Instantly made food for family (and visitors?).

Think of how much one will need to pay the best chef in the world, but many times better than that.

I'd want the Microwave of Dreams just to say to people I have the ****ing Microwave of Dreams lol

But like, I know myself and after awhile I'd really be looking at my plate of food like 'man, if I just learned how to make it I'd have $1,000 in my pocket' so I think I'll go with the 1,000

unless the MoD can cook me up some A S S - cause I'd eat that

Hm, let's say yes to human meat, no to dinosaur meat

If a recipe in a TV show is made using real ingredients, you can make it in the microwave tho

That's really tough. With 52k/yr I could just not work and live well off in a lower cost of living area

But I almost always take the novelty in these scenarios. Like if these were real, I'd be the keeper of mystical goods and curios

You've made a loophole, unfortunately.

Meals can be made ahead of time, I can share those meals with people for a donation (not for the food, but the service). I can make money off the Service not food. That's how you win.

Full explanation: Open a resturaunt that boasts anything and everything you want to eat for $50 a head. Peeps would eat that shit up. Make them order 24 hours in advance to get around the issues.

Wel also stand the problem, what dictates food? You can eat money; it's not going to kill you and you can digest it. So... cook up a stack of cash a day.
