The sweetness tricks you into thinking you are getting something sweet but since its zero calories its not actually satiating. At the end of the day though, like any diet plan it just comes down to discipline there is nothing inherently bad about diet sodas other than its diet soda, and water is just probably a better alternative. --- |

This is why W/L is a bad metric for pitchers in baseball, and why theoretically a player twice as good as Trout could be in the same position as Trout is now. Very few playoff appearances, no major wins. It's why I personally don't take too much stock in championships for team sports. Basketball, and I guess Hockey(granted I don't know too much about hockey, so feel free to correct me) is where the true greats can really take over and will a team to a win. Including championships. Even then I'm hesitant to use championships as an indicator as a great player in those sports too. --- |
