actually the reason there are so many female characters with short hair in modern games is because most devs lack the skill to animate and articulate long hair well in modern game development engines, and short hair just presents a lot less problems in that regard. example: Bioware with Dragon Age Inquisition moving the franchise from an inhouse engine to EA's Frostbite.

It's the same reason the main character in Kiki's delivery service has shorter hair than in the story the movie is based on; the animators knew it'd be too time-intensive to draw her with long hair.

There is absolutely no way you won't get piss on the seat if you don't lift it.

Pee will get on the seat no matter what, because some of it sprinkles around surprisingly far. Even with the seat up. That said, up is better than down.

But because pee sprinkle is unavoidable, I just sit down to pee when I'm at home. This way I never get pee anywhere and I don't have to worry about it at all.

I tried a Tiger Woods golf game once. I paid full price for it and it even came with wii motion plus. I only ever played it once then never touched it again. It is so damn boring.

I think the execution of how the movie was made is problematic but I also think the movie is undeniably effective. The sexualization of girls depicted in Cuties actually happens in real life, a lot. A lot of people don't realize it. It's so easy for young girls to get into it without parents knowing.

I would make some changes to how the movie was filmed and edited. Making the music diegetic during the dancing would change the feeling. And I know they were careful about the actresses and making sure they stayed safe with them but maybe they should have been more careful. Netflix shouldn't have made the poster of them on the stage posing suggestively, that was really bad.

People say "why didn't they just make it a documentary if they wanted to make a point about it?" But making a documentary of it would have gone under everybody's radar.

I think over 95% of the hostile response is coming from people who haven't seen the movie and are unwilling to put any thought into it. The movie repudiates the sexualization of children

I hope they dont ever give Peach a voice actress doing a horrible attempt of a British accent just because the character is royalty.

If theres one thing wrong with Breath of the Wild its Zeldas voice.

Mipha is much worse than Zelda in that game IMO, though I think most of the actors were either poorly directed or miscast, sadly.

Peach, Rosalina, Daisy, and Pauline have all talked before and they have american accents, I'd be surprised if they changed that. Mario and Luigi have some kind of Italian accent (or at least Charles Martinet's facsimile of one lol), and IDK what Wario and Waluigi are.

Bowser only really talked for Mario Sunshine, they went back to monster noises afterward. Sometimes he says a word or two but it's made to sound monstery.

It'll be interesting to see how they do the Mario movie as well, and who will do the voice acting depending on the language.

its funny how once apple got rid of the headphone jack, bluetooth heaphones became the mainstream despite before that everyone kept going on about how poor quality sound wireless was. Yet some of the most recommend headphones these days are wireless.

Bluetooth headphones already had good enough quality for 99% of customers before apple forced them. People mainly didn't want them because they didn't want to deal with having to charge them constantly, and because they're more expensive.

And I mean it's no surprise that the market for wireless headphones grew a lot after Apple got rid of headphone jacks in their phones! That's exactly what I'd expect to happen.

It's not an exaggeration... there really is a lot more you can do with an android phone. Beyond aesthetic customization. That said, even aesthetics are important: for example, the fact that iphones still don't let you move your apps to the bottom of the home screen is bizarre considering that's the most accessible part of the screen...but that's one of the aesthetic choices apple makes for iphone users which you can't change.

Android phones have a lot more I can do with them. And while iphones have some good gestures, they also have a lot of user-unfriendly interactions which I can't stand. I also don't like how all their premiere phones are so big. Also, there are several critical apps like Tasker and youtube vanced which are only available on android phones.

It is good insofar as you can see there's a lot of work in it, it's very carefully made and it presents a very unique and interesting setting. I personally think it's a bit too ambiguous for me to really want to latch onto the story. I prefer his movie The Witch. But I would still recommend The Lighthouse to somebody who is interested in dark surreal stories.

That's not worse. BOTW took twice as long from initial reveal to release than its sequel has so far.
