Just watched Kite (great stuff). But one of the things I love about older shows on DVD is the previews for other shows, occasionally ones that I haven't heard of. Marriage looked pretty good (apparently based on a visual novel), and Shinesman seemed hilarious, especially the dub which doesn't take itself seriously in a good way.

Oh, I've read the manga and all of the anime for both series (show, movie and OVA). I love it all, but I actually prefer the original anime over Brotherhood, for various reasons.

I should have mentioned it before, but Saturday was FMA day (the date etched into Ed's pocket watch). I watched the original show and movie recently, so today I watched the OVA collection. It was cooler than I remembered, with a large scale original fight scene. Guess I'll start on Brotherhood pretty soon.

I really wish Isekai was its own genre on manga sites, so you could filter it out. Seems like for several years now about 2/3 of the top listed manga were isekai. You'd think it would have slowed down a little bit by now..

I think it was great that they had consistency and there was no room for confusion. But I also think after five systems the name scheme has gotten old, and "PlayStation 6" or "PS6" just don't really have the same ring as 1-5 do.

You can't possibly blame someone for losing their patience when their opponent's "strategy" is to never let them get a fucking word in edgewise. That's level one trolling, and barring moderator punishment the only recourse is to tell him to shut up or just stay silent the entire time and throw away the debate.

My buddy swore he was never buying a full price game again after picking up AC Odyssey only to have it go on sale a couple days later and he told me a few days ago he bought Ghost of Tsushima lmao he's gonna be so pissed

That's a good policy to have in general. Basically the only games I pay full price for/buy day one are my absolute favorite series, like Kingdom Hearts. Otherwise I have no problem waiting for a lower price. Hell, I held off on getting a PS4 at all until it was like $100 on Black Friday.

Slay the Spire is great, but it would be very difficult to play in real life (even for its genre), with all the different counters and numbers to keep track of in every battle.

Answer seems likely to be B, but I suppose you could argue C in the event that B tried to go down the right side. Rout B is closer to the goal, but C has less potential for backtracking.

I liked 3 the best too. Zaheer was a damn good villain, and it was great seeing all the adult characters go full power against them. It was also cool that they treated Korra's reaction to the climax very realistically.

Any favorite characters? I like Bolin, Tenzin and Jinora.

I've more than once considered that Zeus may well be an elaborate, very committed troll. He has the worst political opinions, makes the most insane arguments, is a walking contradiction, complaining about being persecuted here and white people being persecuted in general while downplaying racism of any other kind, accuses others of things he does on a regular basis.

And he rarely backs up any of his arguments. Used to be he'd respond about a week after everyone else, but we don't even get that anymore. He makes like two posts in a thread, then abandons it completely without responding to anyone's counters and waits for the next thread to restate the same points. There's not even any point in ignoring him, because with all those alts he's like a hydra.
