Gravity Rush is amazingly fun; it's an action game where you have complete control of gravity. You can walk on walls/ceilings, fly, and lots of other effects. The camera can be controlled with either the right stick or motion controls; the latter can take some getting used to but it can be very intuitive.

There was some other cartoon movie about a horse that came out around the same time; I remember liking that one. But I can't remember the name.

Actually, I think Spirit is the one that I saw. I can't remember too well now, but I know there were two different movies involving horses that released near each other, and I only saw one of them.

Rather than being specifically anti-mask based on principle or conspiracy theory, a large percentage of people where I live just plain don't give a fuck about any of it. They can't be bothered to do anything socially conscious; it's basically on the same level as littering. A major concern in the issue is apathy.

A few people, but nothing majorly life changing. In high school I found a group of guys who would play Yu-Gi-Oh during breakfast or lunch (I didn't know anyone else who played at the time) and started hanging out with them. I was still pretty self conscious, and they probably didn't even realize they taught me a lot about being myself and not caring what other people think.

In a similar vein was a guy I met a few years later, who introduced me to a local all-ages anime/gaming club. He was actually a year younger than I was, but was married, had a baby, and spearheaded and ran the whole thing. He inspired me to be more proactive in my interests, and since then I've been going to and working/volunteering for various conventions and other events.

I think if anything, it just makes you a weaboo. If it's not Japanese then it's not manga, so it would be better called under the blanket term comics. Using a specifically Japanese word when neither you nor the subject are Japanese is textbook weaboo.

The Gamer was cool. My two favorite manhwa are Black God/Kurokami, and Unbalance x Unbalance. (Black God was set in Japan but created in Korea)

Black God was really good (and surprisingly had absolutely no qualms about the female protagonist getting the brakes beat off her on a regular basis, by both the protagonist for laughs, and the villains for drama), but the scans were dropped. And Unbalance x Unbalance was also great, before the series went on hiatus for a few years, after which point the quality took a nosedive.

The name Robotnik was made up in the western release of the games, but he was always called Eggman from development. They decided to canonize both names in Sonic Adventure, where he says his name is Ivo Robotnik, and everyone calls him Eggman derisively.

I actually ignored this topic when I first saw it, because I have no particular interest in her music. But when I saw 90+ posts, I knew it was full of people shitting on her and pop music in general.

Why do people get so worked up over music and feel the need to insult genres and artists they don't care for? I just left a different discussion where people were being vitriolic about rap.

At a grocery store a moment ago, I was heading over to grab some eggs, but there was an employee and a large case blocking the whole area as he was restocking. I was going to ask him to move for a moment, but just then he looked at my shirt (from a local anime convention) and asked me if I was upset as he was about it being canceled this year.

We got to rapping for a minute or two, and eventually he said he should get back to work and it was nice talking to me. I felt like it would be awkward telling him to move after all that, so I just parted ways, planning to just return after I got everything else I needed. But shortly after I began to walk away, I heard something fall; I glanced back and sew that he had dropped a carton of eggs. Not wanting him to be embarrassed, I pretended to never have noticed and kept walking.

So, several minutes later, I made my way back to the eggs and saw, from a distance, that the area was now empty aside from two safety cones surrounding the spill. The coast was clear as I sped over - and was beaten to the punch by the very same employee, with mop in hand to clean up the mess he made.

Maybe I'll get eggs tomorrow.

Man, that was my jam back in the day.

XPlay - I loved to hate Adam and Morgan. They seemed to vehemently hate anything anime-ish. But they were decently funny.

Attack of the Show - very fond memories. Olivia Munn was nice, but Kevin Pereira and Sarah Lane were the power team. I could watch them all day.

Filter with Diane Mizota was fun with the different countdowns. Cheat was all right, but actual cheats were pretty hard to come by even then. I learned a lot about the industry from Icons.

Cinematech was underrated IMO; it was great seeing random scenes and snippets from games that I might not have checked out on my own. And Nocturnal Emissions definitely furthered my growth as a man of culture.

I think it's a good idea, because 36 hours really isn't enough time to really get to know a game and write up a decent review. You could binge the game and you'd be able to see plenty of what it has to offer that way, but anyone willing to binge a new game on release day and write review has a decent chance of being biased on it on way or another.

In any case I've never believed in using reviews for opinions. The main points I look for in a review are basic gameplay, controls, and maybe a basic overview of the story. If there are any glaring issues in those departments they're likely to be mentioned, so that's all I need to make my own opinion on whether to try the game.

He did a show in my town a couple years ago; I hated that I didn't have the money to go.

King of Queens was fantastic once it got over its clichd Fat Jerk/Hot Wife hump in the beginning.

I don't care what anyone says; that man is a delight. I've enjoyed him in everything I've seen him in. Hitch, Paul Blart, Zookeeper. Here Comes the Boom was amazing.

I also noticed that he did a serious role in a recent movie; I might check it out this weekend.
