IIRC there were additional plans for Gau that got scrapped. I think his father was supposed to have been a failed magi knight like Kefka or something like that and it ended up getting scrapped. In the end Gau (+ Gogo) is the only character in the game with absolutely zero connection to the main plot of the game until he meets Sabin and Cyan

The pic colors are supposedly random, but my experience the last few days they seem slightly influenced by surrounding colors. When I took pics in the daylight I got more gold/blue, and pics at night tend to yield more brown/purple.

Probably not true and still total RNG, but it's strange I got like 5 extra brown pics today when I took all my pics of blue seashells at night on brown sand.

I took pics in the middle of noon on the top of a mountain and got 4 brown ones in a row

I got Arsene immediately, I got Joker at around 146 sigils, and got Mona on literally pull 290-300

Traded in the tickets for Forte

Along the way I sniped Formal Joachim (pulled 300 on his banner without getting either Him or Noelle and traded for Noelle and called it quits) and also sniped Summer Norwin.

So 300 pulls worth for 4 new characters and 1 new Dragon isn't so bad I guess.

Hope my luck isn't this awful on Panther.
