How do trailing stop losses work and whats a smart place to set them at?

Mostly for day traders.

You set a % under the peak which gets adjusted higher as it keeps hitting new peaks. So a 10% trailing stop loss on a stock at $10 would trigger at $9. If the stock rises to $50 then starts crashing it triggers at $45.

I don't recommend stop losses after hours. Wild swings can trigger your stop loss.

Has to be the literal same day buy AND sell.

You can send in 5 different buy orders for the same stock and that doesn't count but as soon as you do one sale it counts.

Fred has "stock" which is a 10 HP creature in play that has the ability to sacrifice this creature to gain life equal to the amount of HP it has.

I cast "call" which is an enchantment that removes the ability on "stock" so that Fred can no longer sacrifice it as long as the enchantment is in play. Casting call deals five damage to me and heals Fred for five HP. Call has 10 counters on it one is removed every turn at the end of these ten turns I take 10 damage and gain control of stock or I can choose to send call to the graveyard for no effect.

every time a counter is removed from Call I have the option to gain life equal to the amount of HP on stock and transfer control of call to another player that is not Fred. I can also sacrifice call early in order to gain control of stock early taking the 10 damage early.

in order for this to be worth it at all I have to make sure that stock has more than 15 HP when I gain control of it.

Some guy has promised to sell me his 100 shares of APHA for $22 on or before January 21, 2022.

But let's say I don't want to buy them anymore. I can sell the promise to someone else for $1500. The more APHA goes up, the more I can sell the promise for. I can basically a whole year to watch it go up before making a decision to either buy the $2200 worth of shares (if I think it will continue to rise) or sell the promise outright.

Im in a similar spot with a TLRY LEAP it is up 200%. Profit of $3,200 overall which is more than my initial investment of 3k I started with. I dont know if I should even cash out. There are two years remaining and it feels even with a pull back TLRY seems likely to go over $70 within 2 years. Could even be within 2 days if it keeps this momentum.

Hold as long as possible is my current strategy. But I'm going to also be paying attention to any competition APHA might have and if it looks like they're getting stomped I might just sell the option and close my position.

I'm 500 shares deep into SNDL now and might buy more.

That was my chief nom, but apparently didn't get enough extra noms to make the cut. I don't think enough people make it far enough into X-2 to experience the blood-boiling rage that was fighting Chac.

The funny thing is FFX final boss has the same attack (called "touch" I think) but it's very rare in the AI pattern and you get a little bit of time to recover before permanent damage happens.

Chac is just fucking relentless.

Unless her signature literally says "PE" or "Professional Engineer" I don't think you have any legal issues to be worried about. The requirements to even take the PE exam are literally "Be an Engineer for 4+ Years"
