The problem with that is that the announcements seem to be connected to the date. Meaning time travel would make it difficult to implement.

First, Belgium is very liberal with what they count as COVID 19 deaths. But even ignoring that -- Belgium has had their death toll under control for a while now, while the US's current death toll is worse per million than Belgium. Their death rate has steadily been under 2 per million each day since the beginning of June. The US on the other hand has had 7.36 Deaths per million as recently as June 26th. The US's number of confirmed cases also keep going up. This pandemic has been lengthened by this administration. There's little doubt about that.

Chuck Woolery, who said the Corona Virus was a hoax, is now changing his tune after his son contracted COVID19. He's also apparently deleted his twitter account. It's unfortunate he played politics with this virus, much like Trump has, and has led to who knows how many more people getting it -- including people who don't listen to him, but simply people who interact with people who do. It's like the people who claim that hurricanes are fake news and people don't need to evacuate. How can we turn something like this into something political? A decent President would've pulled people together in a time of crisis like this. Even George W. Bush would've handled this pandemic better. The sheer incompetence of the Trump administration is costing people lives, all to play politics that satisfy his ego.

Now imagine you have to use public transportation in order to get there. Or rely on someone else driving you to the polling station. Or imagine that you have to work that day. And your choice is between voting and your job.

Then you have the issue of identification. Student IDs in many places don't count. Some people don't have a drivers license. And getting an ID sometimes is more difficult than necessary.

The idea that people have to vote on a specific day in a specific place seems kind of silly these days.

I swear my mom has given up. She thinks Trump has the luck of the devil and will come out of this fine. I wouldn't be surprised but literally EVERYTHING we know does not point in that direction.

As long as she votes, that's all that matters. If anything, being convinced we're going to lose should convince more people to get out and vote. Republicans want us to be complacent and not vote. That's their only hope.

Does the community in Chicago have a union preventing murderers from being charged for killing those people? If so, I'd say yeah, that union is bad! I'd hope everyone else would too. But unless I'm sorely mistaken, Chicago doesn't have that.
