It was an average movie overall, Kato was really good though, spot on.

So I'm right about 40 minutes in and barely anything has happened. If you like Seth Rogen then it's average or maybe a bit better. But it's a lot of setup with out a lot of payoff, even for the first act of a movie. The jokes don't land at all if you don't like Rogens personal style (which I'd constrast with some of his more popular movies that would work with different actors). Kato is definitely the best part, his action scenes are the redeeming part of the movie

It's fun, but it essentially takes the kind of stuff that were activities in the second game and makes them main story missions. If you can get past that, it's a wild over the top fun game.

None of them are remotely close to realistic. There's been several attempts at creating a "realistic super hero comic" and outside of the joke ones where shit like Peter Parker is bit by a radioactive spider and gets sick and dies, the "most realistic" is probably Watchmen.

They did, but the Razr was the first really big and well known flip phone, just like the iPhone is the first really big and well known Smartphone. Smartphones technically existed before the iPhone, its just that the iPhone was the first to really take off and start the Smartphone era.

When you put it that way I'm not sure that the flip phone era existed. The draw of the razr wasn't the flipping, it was the profile and sleekness.

The flip phone era technically really started once the Motorola Razr came out in 2004, but it only lasted about 3 years until the first iPhone came out in 2007 and started the Smartphone era we're still in to this day.
Why do you think the flip phone era was so short in comparison to the current Smartphone era we're in now?

Out of curiosity, what do you see as the desired outcome of reparations? I'm talking less number of dollars and more what is it supposed to help the people receiving it achieve? And once those reparations have been paid, do you see the slate as being wiped clean or are we right back in the exact same spot we were before?

I think they're morally justified, I haven't given much thought to the structure. The intent is just righting past wrongs. I don't think it wipes the slate clean because there are other things driving modern day disparities and inequities than history, but I do think that it would help. It wouldn't be as good as a more robust social safety net for everyone imo but it would definitely help

If the standards for language held true for everyone the majority of the FGC would be banned. It was selectively enforced and Mr. Wizard is the first white male to be banned (though we don't know if Mike Z would have eventually been banned), and it wasn't because he said bad things. If you think the bans they were doing before were about some kind of integrity and not to please sponsors you are delusional and the Mr. Wizard thing is the reality of the situation. He was the ultimate pearl clutcher.
