Captain Marvel was derped hard af. The writers try to write her overpowered self out for most of the film by claiming she has important stuff to do on every planet, which, fine whatever, but then she magically shows up anyway. Did someone call her? Is she omniscient? Did she see the dead return and just kinda figure that past Thanos must have time traveled to present Earth?

I love how this fixed my biggest problem with IW ("This is the only way") in a way that feels like it was always the plan. Provably because it was indeed always the plan. That was clever. Also I like how I figured that out before Tony even asks.

Lol Tony ain't staying dead, and Cap ain't staying elderly. Not unless Covid kills the MCU.

I hope they destroyed the time machine after fixing time. I would say and keep Tony dead so nobody can figure it out again, but Tony must have told Bruce since Bruce rebuilt it.

But anyway, it was a cool movie.

Well drawing can be a problem too but Watcher probably has the best protection against that, with all the retaining you can do. But I meant more about getting card offers. or example, Weave but no scry options.

Also the Slaver's collar was because Act 1 boss relic options tend to be total garbage. Like, as in, I wish I could just decline on probably one in two or three runs.

Also I was totally expecting them to be setting up a twist where she turns out to be a skrull but you can't really blame the filmmakers when that would no doubt be a departure from the actual source material.

It's also a kind of underwhelming origin story tbh for somebody with such breadth and magnitude of powers. Like I can kinda see how maybe they were shooting for she has all the powers of an alien spaceship or something but just seems like her origin story should have been, like, she fell into the sun or something.

Well it's better than the biggest chains but:

1. It's mostly because of their rock bottom prices. The pizza is probably the worst by a hair, but it's the cheapest by a mile.
2. There are lots of smaller chains that have a better quality: price ratio.

I had some fun with a few waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back on Windows 97.

We actually had Windows 97. Most people remember this as a hoax, and maybe it was, but I definitely remember seeing the Windows 97 splash screen when you would boot up. And it had stuff like this little guy on shutdown who would say "It is now REALLY safe to turn off your computer." I remember it vividly. Now whether my dad got tricked into buying a fake OS, maybe a 95 somebody hacked and threw a skin on, I don't know, but our PC definitely had Windows 97.

Anyway.

There were two golf-related games I used to play on this PC. One was Geogolf, an edutainment mini golf game that despite being clearly edutainment (we even knew this at the time) was surprisingly fun. You would give it an angle, in multiples of 5 degrees, and a power level and take your stroke. My sister and I played the hell out of it. There were only 18 holes, all of them perfectly flat,but we played them over and over until we had memorized the exact angle that would get you a hole-in-one. There was no reason not to go full power; if the ball touched the hole, it went in.

There was another game that I don't remember the title of, which was a pretty cookoe-cutter camera-behind-the-golfer golf game with full-size courses, wind effects, etc. We played that one a lot too. It was p fun but not a lot of explaining to do.

Truth be told, I can never remember which epistle is which. The Paul part of the Bible is pretty crazy stuff. Very hard to read. He goes into a lot of detail about lofty theoretical stuff, to an audience who lived a long time ago.

One of my favorite resources when I need a refresher is the youtube channel The Bible Project. There are a couple of their ideas that I definitely don't agree with but for the most part, I really like their analyses. Here's their video about Galatians:

From what I've heard about it, they might as well have made it another spinoff.

But anyway, Star Force was so good. It did take a step back in combat from Battle Network, but it took like seven steps forward in every single other department.

I alwayd liked how the shotgun in PeaceWalker actually felt like a shotgun instead of an invisible spear or something.

I get that they nerf them for balance because real-world shotguns are OP af but it was nice to see them not care about that for once, lol.

Yeah it was not bad.

People get hung up on the overpopulation thing like it's not an inherent quality of villains to be wrong/in the wrong. I took more issue with how it didn't even feel like one movie. One minute we were in Wakanda, another we were in deep space, a third we were in NYC, we might as well have gone to Oz.

Tht mission where you escort the car and the IFF is broken was tricky. But in a good way. Having to get in close to ID the ground targets was kinda crazy considering it was in a city. Especially with how long it takes; I kept stalling.

I eventually got through it by switching to the slowest plane I had, which as it turns out, has the four guided bomb weapon too, which was also pretty helpful.

Kind of ironic, really, to swap to a slower plane. I kept stalling anyway, and I just kept hearing Will Smith's voice in my head saying "We was breaking the slowness limit," lol.
