I alwayd liked how the shotgun in PeaceWalker actually felt like a shotgun instead of an invisible spear or something.

The super shotgun has already been mentioned and is probably the clear winner, so Ill go with the best multiplayer shotgun.

The Last of Us Part 2. The only game I ever played where a shotgun at close quarters felt like it really does the kind of damage it would in life. Even the recoil and reload time feels like shooting my 12 gauge. It's also the only gun I can use well in that game because I fucking suck at the shooting mechanics in it.
