That sounds interesting. I could also see it simply being expanded to non-human animal characters in general (so Pokemon would be included despite not speaking human language) but that would be up to whoever runs it. Either way, I definitely have a few magical girl anime mascot critters in mind...

This is the second time one of my underdog nominations made it to third, the other time being Yaya in the save that anime contest. I'm happy with how far she did. Thanks everyone that supported.

I'm really happy about how well the waifus did in general, not just Micha. We got a whopping seven anime robowaifus into the top 20, including a few of my nominations. Micha being the last waifu standing was really unexpected, but I'm mostly happy about a great showing for anime all around.

I was kinda hoping for a Crow vs. Servo finale.

I dislike when the final matchup is between two characters from the same series. I know the same thing happened in a past contest (Save That Fighting Game Character 2 came down to King vs. Yoshimitsu, both from Tekken) and it kind of sucked a lot of the fun out of the final vote for me even though I like both characters. I think that's the only time it happened in one of these contests that has characters from multiple series.

Should have been only three episodes: one episode where *Haruhi spoilers for those unaware* it ends normally and Kyon doesn't realize they're in a time loop yet, one where he realizes they're in a loop but fails to get them out of it, and finally one where he figures out the solution and gets them out of it. Simple as that. I give the studio credit for actually re-drawing so much stuff between the versions of the episodes, like different outfits and adjustments to the animation, so they clearly committed fully to the bit. But stretching it for eight episodes wasn't necessary and it really soured my opinion on the anime as a whole. Disappearance almost managed to redeem it... almost.

13 Black vs Dominator II

I remember that fight, and I wanted D2 to win it so bad. That was one of the very few bots that I think had a good chance to beat Razer straight-up because its awkward shape and tough armor would have made it tough for Razer to get a hold of it. But sadly, that matchup never happened.

WIXOSS is an underrated gem. It's basically the Madoka Magica of card game anime. Four seasons of high-stakes card battles, psychological drama, corrupted wishes, cute girls suffering horrific life-altering emotional trauma, and more.

For a much more light-hearted show, I'll also mention Angelic Layer. It's from CLAMP, the same manga group that wrote/drew Cardcaptor Sakura, and it's about a sport where people build mechanical dolls that they control mentally to have them fight each other in competitions. There are some surprisingly great fights between the dolls, and the main character's development throughout the series is really good. It's kind of an old and dated series (it's from 2001) but the art still looks good even today. It's a CLAMP series, after all.

It looks like you can't actually catch them for yourself in Sword/Shield without buying the DLC though. You can only get them by trading with someone else who does or by importing them with Pokemon Home. The GTS being gone hurts quite a bit though, so you have to directly find people to trade with.

I've kind-of-sort-of started cheering for the Chiefs since they're the closest team to me geographically, but the only other NFL team that I can consider a true "home team" for me now that the Rams left is the Dolphins. I was born and raised in Miami before my family moved to St. Louis, so I still held my loyalty to the fish even though they've been a bad team for close to two decades now.

It was good in WW2, but the MW version is awful. I get it's supposed to be chaotic, but the spawns are ten times more awful than any previous version of the map.
