I disagree. The Tessa Blanchard storyline is actually why I started watching Impact again in the first place. The deal with AXS actually putting the show on a channel I get on my cable package helped too, but that's not the point. Tessa fighting against the guys and especially her feud with Sami Callahan has gotten a lot of new eyes on the product, and outside of that storyline, Impact has had some really interesting feuds and some really great matches. Their shows aren't as great as NXT, AEW, or NJPW, but they're certainly not as bad as RAW or Smackdown have been.

I agree. She's actually pretty solid on the mic (the time she was a guest commentator on AEW Dark was hilarious because she was dropping some pretty good heel comments and smack talk) unlike a few others in the AEW Women's division, but she does need a bit more work in the ring.

Sadly, the Stardust Crusaders dub isn't available for legal streaming anywhere right now. Toonami's rights to it ran out so it's not on the Adult Swim site anymore, but Netflix hasn't picked it up yet like they did the first 2 parts of the franchise. Your only options right now are the Blu-Rays or piracy. This is one of the few cases where I wouldn't blame anyone for choosing to pirate the show.

Part 4's dub is still on the Adult Swim site, and part 5 is still in the middle of airing on Toonami.

Like... you clearly understand what the complaint is, but you've decided to fixate on "well technically it's not half" for some reason. Are you personally happy with the roster having 8 FE characters, many (or most) of which are extremely similar, or are you also unhappy and just want to be contrarian for the sake of it?

If it were up to me, there wouldn't be 8 Fire Emblem characters because there wouldn't be 4 Marths. The FE reps should be Marth, Ike, Robin, Corrin, and Byleth, all of which have completely unique movesets. That's the important part. If Roy, Lucina, and Chrom weren't clogging things up being clones of Marth, I would guess that there would be far less anger toward Byleth's inclusion in the game. But you can blame the "EVERYONE IS HERE!" proclamation for Roy and Lucina returning for Ultimate, and Chrom is just completely unnecessary.

My problem is with the three Marth clones, not with any of the other FE characters. For reference, I also think having both Young Link and Toon Link in addition to the regular Link is fucking stupid too. But again, you can blame "EVERYONE IS HERE!" for that.

People who make this argument also never consider that a humanoid weapon user can only be so varied in moveset, and when compared to the rest of the roster adding another is extremely boring, even if they don't have identical move sets. No amount of variety in sword hitbox and frame data is going to compete with something that isn't "person with weapon"

Robin is a sword user who also uses magic spells. Corrin is a sword user who also transforms parts of him/herself into a dragon. Byleth is a sword user who also wields a lance, an axe, and a bow. How in the world are those not drastically different that the other FE characters?

By that same logic of yours, Joker is just a sword user who also has a gun, but I sure didn't hear anyone bring up the "just another sword user" argument when he was announced. Hero is another sword user who also uses magic spells, but I didn't hear anyone angrily calling him a "Robin clone" when he was announced. So that argument is complete bullshit and you know it.

CE is probably too small to attract those people that get angry when 2 outfits change in a localization.

Anyone who was passionate enough about the game to be angry about those changes mostly likely bought the Wii U version already anyways, and either dealt with the changes or used homebrew to patch the uncensored versions of those models into the game.

Agreed, I wish they had added an (optional) English audio option to the Switch version. Some of the TMS characters now have official English voices from their recent addition to Fire Emblem Heroes, so it's not like they'd have to scramble to find a cast for it.

This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the "EVERYONE IS HERE!" declaration. There's no chance in hell that Lucina, Robin, or Corrin would have returned for Ultimate if it wasn't for that, and people wouldn't be nearly as upset today if Byleth were only the 5th (or even 4th if they decided to not add Chrom) Fire Emblem rep in the game and not the 8th.

Character-wise, it's a huge letdown and I'm disappointed. But gameplay-wise, that fighting style looks amazingly fun and I'll definitely give Byleth a shot. So basically, it's the exact same reason I had to Corrin's addition to Smash 4.
