I defy you to find someone, anyone who actually has something right now. Literally everything is baseless conjecture except that the cop already outted himself and that we know Corrik is a liar. Han has spent all Day pushing a pretty baseless Scept claim while others have been digging into Plum for an understandable take on me. Meanwhile I realize both trains are pretty dog shit and am more interested in getting actual information out of other players. Unfortunately town doesn't seem to actually give a fuck about finding anything out today, everyone just wants to push their pet projects, so I'm not making much headway.

You get one tidbit for free: Red has shown up pretty much within minutes of someone talking about him pretty much since game started but has said absolutely nothing. Scare's Disneyland flowchart aside, I really don't like it. In general I don't like when Town players aren't trying to hunt scum. To me it reads as either lazy enough they shouldn't be playing or scum trying to not draw attention to themselves. If Red was afk I might overlook it possibly but reading along AND not doing anything? Kinda sus

Have to know...

A. Number of tests on the chart.
B. Dates of positives. If a lag in reporting
C. Properly account for if the prevention measures were even being followed by the people reporting positives and etc.

For example, someone posed in another topic that cases spiked after white supremacists rallies asking to open up states happened.

I don't think the data supported that, but even if it did line up, you have to account for the fact that those people who were doing the rallies probably were already flaunting the rules already anyways.

The plum I remember if he wanted to be active (which is usually not likely as scum!) would have poured over the post to correct his mistakes! Your logic is solid but there's meta here you don't have context for.

Corrik is a liar. As town, as scum, as neutral it doesn't matter. Especially early. I don't expect him to answer *anything* truthfully before day 3. I assure you that no one who has played with him before believed that cop claim. Corrik is the one exception to the "lynch all liars" rule.

I have claimed Town Cop first post before and got mislynched as Town Cop! Board 8 is full of meanies! They never want to believe me...!

And here's why:

Abacus's conditional answer to whether or not he had thoughts so far would imply that a specific answer to this question would confirm his thoughts. Given that the answer to the question was "yes, there can be multiple people with the same role" and then he said "All right, well then I have no thoughts!", it means that he WOULD have had a lead if roles were unique.

Thus, he would have had to be talking about the only player who had claimed a role at that point (Corrik). And (for one more step) the natural implication of that would be that Abacus is himself a TOWN Cop, which would directly prove Corrik's claim false if roles were unique. There could, of course, be more than one Cop, but I think that invites enough suspicion for me to vote up Corrik.

Please correct me if parts of this deduction are wrong, Abacus. Or provide what your thought process was when you posted that.

I'd earlier posted an article from The Atlantic where they talked to Governor Northam's chief of staff about it, and he had admitted to policy including antibody results in the overall state testing numbers. So by "inflating" I mean that it's not giving the clearest picture of the nature of the current spread in my county/the state at large. They say the numbers will be split in the future, but didn't specify when.

I agree with high numbers being "good" in a sense that it indicates better outcomes and fewer people available for infection. I just want more clarity is all.

The current numbers are still lagged by week's. Antibody positives should just go in as confirmed and recovered.

On another note, my county is nearly at 1% confirmed infections by the official numbers and I'm strongly suspecting we're one of the ones most inflating our numbers with antibody tests.
