But, in cases standpoints... For example, Florida says they are increasing testing as they reopen to make better informed decisions where they need help at. Storyline goes... "Florida cases spike as state reopens". Well, they increased testing. If they hadn't it would have probably declined a lot more. This doesn't mean reopening caused a rise. Storylines continue to use fear for clicks. I already pointed out the "25-49 age group accounts for 45% of severe cases ones"! And the "the young are not protected from the virus, as healthy 12 year old dies over the weekend". It is garbage as fuck reporting. The countries that have been applying this have been basically having to shut down every time they attempt to open anyways because something is always going to slip through. The lockdowns are supposed to be (and this is where the arguments happen regarding the lockdowns) to lessen the curve so hospitals do not get overwhelmed and unnecessary deaths happen due to lack of hospitals. The tails on the curves have proven not to fall as rapidly as many figured and every time you reopen there is supposed to be another lockdown when the cases rise to again lessen the curve. However, we aren't seeing data that supported those models of overwhelmed hospitals at this time. Ventilator-wise we seem to have supremely overreacted and now have been sending ventilators to other countries to help due to our expected surplusses.
