That is somewhat discouraging.

I got away with it in high school but each semester of college gets closer to me doing some colossal fuckup. I had an Economics exam that I didn't start watching the online lectures for until 3 hours before the test was due. Thing is all day I'd been intending to get on this shit but I get completely overwhelmed and shut down. Instead I just lay there and maybe listen to music. I whittle away entire days like this. I lied to my group project members about an emergency so I had more time to start my deliverable.

I've tried many times to set up organization for myself to defeat my issues or hypothesized stuff I was doing wrong but it always falls apart and the issue stays unresolved.

This semester of college has been REALLY bad with my ability to pay attention. Notably, all my classes were 75 minutes instead of 50. I spent much of the time in most of the them with the toy tambourine monkey going off in my head while I stared vacantly. One was in a big lecture hall and I did not muster the willpower to concentrate for even a single period of that class. I passed the first midterm because the content was largely review like mean/median/mode.

I can't even get myself together for personal projects that I thought I was passionate about. Come to think of it, I stopped playing chess professionally because when I got to the level where studying theory is necessary I could never get through the material.

You don't declare your specialization until junior year so sophomore year is taking all these bullshit pre-req classes. I know I don't want to do accounting, don't make me fucking take financial accounting, it's useless if I'm not CPA. I have to take 6 more credits of fucking accounting plus a "business communications" class, in other words 3 hours a week of "use commas dumbass" and working with incompetent team members on group projects. I fucking dread it. All in all there's a semester in a half of pure bullshit to trudge through.
