Saying "all lives matter" has been often used as a COUNTER point to "black lives matter". In that case it is in fact being used to diminish the point of black people feeling marginalized. How many people actually say all cops are racist? Seriously. "Peaceful protester" is literally used to distinguish between peaceful protestors and vandals. A distinction that is necessary because of how many people, again, frown upon the vandalism going on.

Now she's just going on and on saying it's okay to destroy things while complaining about certain lock down mandates.

She's perfectly free to protect monuments with words, protest, her body. Most monuments would have lots of backlash for being taken down. Referring to confederate monuments that people largely agree should be taken down, as merely "historical monuments" makes it seem like she's willfully ignoring why they're being removed.

I don't think I've heard a single person ever say white people can't discuss race, let alone a minority of people. Just look at how diverse the protests are.

I've heard a ton of talk worrying about the effects the protests can have on COVID.

Charletha Cantrell applied for and received state and federal unemployment benefits for one week in May and then because of what appears to be a clerical error by the Department of Employment Opportunity went from a status of eligible, to ineligible to overpaid.

Now I owe an overpayment for something I am eligible for, Cantrell told News 6. Im tired and Im drowning in bills and I need help.

Cantrell and her two children a 9-year old daughter and 4 -year old son have been depending on her retired fathers monthly social security check to cover the bills.

Im taking care of four people off of an income of $1 thousand a month, a frustrated Cantrell said. Thats not including rent, thats not including lights.

The self-employed hairstylist was furloughed in March and is still waiting to start work again.

A DEO account specialist reset her account to her original benefits claim date of March 22nd triggering a shift in her recorded work history from the last three months of 2019 to the last three months of 2018.

That line change first discovered by News 6 may have triggered an automatic change in her status.

Somehow my claims went from eligible to ineligible, she said.

Cantrell said she is owed 8-weeks from the state unemployment system lost in her paper chase for benefits.

She recently completed a fourth application for unemployment benefits and found her account was active but required documents she had already filed weeks ago.

I cant get anywhere, I cant get answers and I cant get any help, the struggling single mom said. Im literally stuck.

News 6 contacted her state representatives in Broward County to escalate her application for jobless benefits.

Rep Bobby DuBose and State senator Perry Thurston serve District 94 and District 33 respectively.

I agree it's a stunt.

A lot of people are quick to point out none of these people are putting money where their mouth is, they will earn a fortune of voicing racial characters for decades but not give a penny of it away when they apologize for how offensive it was.

But the shame and pushing of guilt and prejudice hiring practices is real. And a bad thing.

This is the next frontier of SJW whining and it's utter insantiy that's going to result in bad attitudes and lower quality products.

The Irish writer - who also helped create The IT Crowd - has courted controversy for his views on the trans community, and was given a verbal harassment warning by police in 2018 after a transgender activist claimed he "trolled" her.

Last week, he briefly lost his blue tick verification after he accused an LGBTQ+ group of "grooming". However, a Twitter spokesperson said his tick had been removed in error and it was later restored.

Linehan's @Glinner account now appears to have been taken down, with a message from Twitter saying profiles that violate the platform's rules will be suspended.

The ban comes after he allegedly tweeted "men aren't women tho", in response to a post by the Women's Institute, which had wished a happy Pride to all of its trans members.

Linehan, who also co-created and wrote the series Black Books with comedian Dylan Moran, appeared to post on Mumsnet's "feminism chat" thread to complain.

He wrote: "I've finally been suspended from Twitter and I have a feeling they're either going to ban me or just take my verified tick.

"I've submitted an appeal with Twitter and the Better Business Bureau but I thought I'd post here too so people knew what was going on. Recently, I keep getting locked out of my account and forced to delete tweets to get back in."

A number of high-profile figures on Twitter reacted to the news.

Model and trans activist Munroe Bergdorf tweeted: "Graham Linehan has been suspended from Twitter.

"Transphobia will not win. Thank you @twitter. Please make it permanent. Who next?!!!"

Other recent high-profile bans from Twitter include commentator and reality TV star Katie Hopkins, whose account was taken down for "abuse and hateful conduct".

Most of the population in the US is white. Odds are by numbers alone most voice actors are going to be white.

If you hire the best voice actors you possibly can due to talent alone, a bunch of them are goingto be white.

Hiring a less talented Voice Actor due to skin color is silly too me. Who cares if a black girl voices a white chick or a white guy voices a Mexican woman if they are good at it?

A new study has shown that the average British pig is shrinking while the average Brit's waistline is expanding.

According to a study commissioned by the Agriculture and Horticultural Development Board, changes in the way pigs are being bred and reared is leading to the production of significantly thinner animals.

Pigs now have an average of 16 per cent fat by weight compared to 20 per cent around 20 years ago.

Christine Walsh, who was part of the team that sponsored the study, said: Pigs have changed a lot since 1990 and are pretty lean compared to what people may think."

The changes in pigs' levels of fat could be due to British farmers attempts to promote pork as a healthier and more diet friendly meat by offering leaner fillets and medallions of loin.

The data around pigs has coincided with the latest Government Health Survey for England which shows a very different picture for the average weight of people in the UK.

The proportion of British adults who pass the threshold of being deemed obese, has risen from 15 per cent in 1993 to 28 per cent today.

Susan Jebb, Professor of diet and population health at Oxford University carried out a study which analysed the levels of fat found in nearly 400,000 middle-aged UK adults.

She told the Times: If the average pig has 16 per cent body fat then for sure that is lower than the average person in the UK."

The Professor's study shows that a middle-aged man with the national average Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27.5, now has a 21 per cent to 25 per cent fat by weight ratio, while for the average woman the figure is 33 per cent to 38 per cent.

Fredrik Karpe, professor of metabolic medicine at Oxofrd University shared how the common saying "as fat as a pig" may no longer be applicable.

Certainly the pigs have gone in one direction [leaner] and the humans have gone in the other direction and now the humans have overtaken the pigs in fat levels," he said.

"If pigs could talk they might well tell each other 'You look as fat as a human'."

It comes as vegetarian and vegan substitutes to meat is growing increasingly popular.

Nearly one in four of all new UK food products launched in 2019 was vegan, a Mintel analysis revealed.

Sales of meat-free foods have grown 40 per cent to an estimated 816 million in 2019, according to the same research.

You have to put this into context. A man started a fight with the police, disarmed one of them, and then pointed a weapon at them, at which point he was shot and killed. For shooting a person aiming a weapon at him, the officer was charged with felony murder, which carries the possibility of the death penalty.

If the cops can't shoot somebody who's pointing a weapon at them, exactly what are they supposed to do? Just let violent criminals go? Not get involved? If you think the police acted in the wrong by shooting an armed suspect pointing a weapon at them, shouldn't you be applauding the police staying home?

There are many options between "Do nothing" and "Shoot the guy in the back twice."

You're dishonest as hell.

Chase him, put in an arrest warrant and get him later, call for back up, use the other tazer. You know what would have happened in every other first world nation on Earth?

Second, you're saying "Pointed the weapon at them" when the taze had no charge and Rolfe knew it. He admitted he was in no danger when he shot a man in the back twice.

And that was a weapon Brooks got from the cops that he absoutely should not have been able to do but they were too incompetent.

There is no way to defend this, let alone pretending to be sick to sit at home and getting paid over it.

Four years ago, a woman approached a black father who was shopping at the grocery store with his kids. She commended him for sticking around, and doing right by his children. Now, he and his Dad Gang are marching in Washington D.C. in an effort to challenge such racial stereotypes.

Sean Williams says that moment in the grocery storein a mostly-white Long Island neighborhoodwas not unique, and many of his friends have experienced similar situations. The encounter led him to launch an organization of solidarity for Black dads with a mission to change the way people view Black fatherhood.

According to the CDC, African-American fathers who live with their children are more active than other groups in terms of changing diapers and bathing and dressing their kids. Sean wants these positive qualities of black fatherhood to become more well-known and more celebrated in the culture.

The Dad Gang has evolved into a community of socially-conscious allies whose motto, We are dad goals, sums up the purpose of the groups events: to enjoy their time together, while setting the new standard of what black fatherhood looks like worldwide.

Thanks to The Dad Gang, it was not just an ordinary Fathers Day weekend in the nations capital. Hundreds gathered with Sean and his group at the National Museum of African American History and Culture to celebrate their families and bust racial stereotypes.

Sheila Roberts of Tampa, FL was in D.C. visiting her father. When she heard about the event at the museum, she couldnt think of a better way to celebrate his big day. Black fathers dont get the credit they deserve, She told the Washington Post. Im here to dispel the myth and stereotype.

The group also stood in solidarity with those protesting the death of George Floyd in recent weeks. Edward Smith, COO of The Dad Gang, told ABC that Floyds daughter, although she lost her father to racial injustice, she also gained a million more dads who cared about her.

They might have been hearkening back to memories of the Million Man March 25 years ago, when nearly a million Black men and family members came to the National Mall to pledge to be better fathers and lift up their communities.
