I'll give it a 7. The job system is great, but it sucks how the only "carryover" between jobs is HP. I liked the guests who were sometimes there. The DS version did MP a little bit better iirc.

The sections where everyone was mini was quite novel and memorable, but also gimmicky. Garuda was a memorable boss... nothing quite like "make EVERYONE a lancer so they can jump and be out of combat when he'd OHKO you"

DS version had MP. The Famicom version had the FF1-3/Dungeons and Dragons style system of each spell level has a set number of charges, which the Dark Souls games later decided to do.

Well I don't live in the US either, but yeah it's not really comparable. Being in a free society is huge. It's why my fiancee wants to leave China. There is definitely something weird about the PS4 with that though. We know they have working PS1 and 2 emulators on the PS4 due to hackers discovering them. So you have to wonder why they didn't want you to be able to play those games.

I can still download them and play across my Vita or PSP or PS3 for PS1 games. That's much better than my Wii games which are only left on a USB drive now and could never be downloaded again.

No they aren't. What they did with Black Panther was target as many groups as possible. You probably live in America and don't even realize it made half of its box office in countries where black people are less than 1% of the population. In addition to the majority of the American audience being white. Disney wasn't trying to make some movie for black people out of goodness of their hearts. These corporations only care about making money. That's why they market the way they do.

As I said before Indie stuff is different. You aren't beholden to profits for your financers and can market however you want.

Edited: to make it clear I am just talking about marketing for Black Panther. Not sure on Moonlight, so I shouldn't comment on it.

You, seem to not get how marketing works. If white people, the majority, didn't buy diversity stuff they wouldn't make it. Because it sells better overall they do. As I said many times already. If literally only black people went to Black Panther it would have bombed. That's not a big enough market. So they market to other groups too. It's like you think Moonlight won best picture because only black gay people voted for it when the Academy is mainly straight white people.

The biggest demographic that saw the movie was white straight males. They also captured many other groups as you note, and as such however many racists they lost were easily made up for by the other groups.

I have no idea what you're saying here. They targeted them because they're the biggest demographic in the population. I am a foreigner in Japan in an interracial relationship with another foreigner from another country. There are maybe thousands of people like me in Japan at most, and unsurprisingly nothing is marketed toward people like me. That's just a numbers game.

I assume in general if they aren't being marketed toward them, you either have some kind of niche market that you're getting your sales from or you're not getting sales at all. The US was also doing eugenics early on. Nothing like the genocides seen in other countries, but it was a government program and led to involuntary sterilization of many people. Some argue the Nazi eugenics program was inspired by the one in California. There was also human experimention on people (most famously the Tuskegee studies). I am no fan of whataboutism, but it's important to realize these things aren't unique to a given society.

Even if you go back and play Snatcher, it's obvious he already had delusions of grandeur even then despite simply mashing Blade Runner with Terminator. I think you're mixing the ideology of capitalism, which is pretty broad and largely revolves around private property with modern business practices. You can have one without the other. Many of the best societies in the world are capitalist with strong welfare states.
