I agree with Fodder Line for Bugs. He has been in plenty of games but none of them were really good or memorable. And I think a lot of the younger contest voters won't have a large attachment to Bugs due to not growing up with reruns of the classic cartoons.

I agree with Mid Fodder for Viewtiful Joe.

I will go with Blue as a Midcarder as well, but for me it's kind of close between that and low mid. Pokemon was significantly boosted in CB9, and whether or not he will get "Gary Oak" votes is the deciding factor between the tiers for me. I think he will get them.

For Mallow I will say Mid Fodder (barely). Geno didn't look terrible in CBX against Tifa all things considered, and Mario RPG is still a popular game on the site. Mallow is a favorite among the game's cast, but lacks the recognition of Geno.

I say Fodder Line for Deadpool. He has always been an extremely popular Marvel character and the movies are well-liked. Plus his 4th wall breaking will probably come up in the form of meme threads if he appeared in a match.

Pirahna Plant isn't just a generic enemy, it's a generic Mario enemy. I say High Fodder.

Tyrion I honestly have no clue on - I haven't watched GoT and don't know a lot about it. I will say High Fodder since, while there have been GoT games, they haven't made a huge impact from what I've seen. And the GoT series isn't nearly as ubiquitous as something like Star Wars or LOTR.

Daisy I will say Fodder Line. I think she would have been anti-voted heavily in the past for being "annoying", but her appearance in Smash was well-received and she isn't nearly as annoying in spinoff roles as she was in the Gamecube era. Plus Peach boosted in CBX which is a good sign for her.

Celes is Fodder Line - I think she looked around that strength in CB9. And FF6 characters should retain strength on Gfaqs.

I agree with Fodder Line for Woody. He did star in the first Toy Story games for SNES (and I think Genesis). He is definitely a well-liked character in all of the movies and will get a decent amount of votes.

Spike I will agree with Mid Fodder on, but part of me wants to say high fodder since Cowboy Bebop is one of the most popular anime series in the west. Alas the series hasn't been relevant in a while - despite the live-action Netflix adaptation in development.

King Harkinan I will be generous with and say High Fodder. I can easily see him getting some meme support due to just how many great quotes he has in the CD-i games. Harkinan also embodies the early YTP age of Youtube, and could get some votes based on nostalgia for that time period.

I will agree with High Fodder for Altair, but I almost want to go mid fodder. I just don't think the site cares about the AC series nearly as much as it did in 2013. It's hard to judge this by Ezio's performance in CBX though, since he was up against the newly elite Zelda. Ezio I think is slightly stronger than Altair.

Donald Duck I think just barely makes Low Midcarder. He is more iconic and popular than Goofy, and the Europe vote puts him over the fodder line.

Fodder Line for Epona. Not being in BOTW hurts her a bit, and I think she was a low midcarder in CB9. Again it's hard to tell, but Ganon seemed to drop a bit due to having a limited role in BOTW so I figure the same will happen to Epona.

Raiden is Fodder Line. He looked like a low midcarder in CB9, but Metal Gear characters excluding Snake all underperformed in CBX. A dip is likely for Raiden, who also hasn't had a major game appearance since Rising.

I can only guess on Delita, but for now I have to say Low Fodder since Ramza himself is probably only high fodder at best.

Falco is hard to place, since much of his contest history consists of getting SFF'd by stronger Nintendo characters. I will say Fodder Line for him (barely). He will benefit from nostalgia for Star Fox 64 and Melee, but the fact that most of his strength comes from smash means he will likely lose to characters with non-smash games that are more popular on the site than SF64.

I'm going to say High Fodder to all.

Jigglypuff was never a powerhouse in her previous appearances - she isn't hugely popular in smash and those that do play her tend to play in a slow, frustrating way. Maybe increased nostalgia can help her out, but Pokemon was very strong in CB9 and Jiggly did not impress.

I don't think FE Fates or Corrin herself are as hated as you'd think. There are definitely vocal haters of the game, but it did decently well on site ratings and polls. For Corrin, I think the fact that he/she is not a standard sword user saves them from a huge amount of hatred and thus anti-votes. And the fact that female Corrin is popular for her, um, waifu powers.

For Mike Tyson, there is a decent amount of nostalgia for Punch-Out that gets him up to mid fodder. But his distinctive look and his memorable appearances in things such as The Hangover and Mike Tyson Mysteries push him up to the low end of High Fodder imo.

I'm not too sure about Chloe, but I think she can be Mid Fodder. She has a major role in 2 Uncharted games and stars in The Lost Legacy. Plus she's hot, so she will definitely fare better than Sully did.

Little Mac looked like high fodder at best in his CB9 appearance, and ultimately I think he is still High Fodder. He is decently popular in smash and definitely an old-school character who can get a lot of respect votes.

Laharl I say is High Fodder, which is what he looked like in CB9. The fact that Disgaea has had rereleases as recently as 2018 helps keep him relevant.

I think Rydia is Fodder Line. It has been a while since the DS remake, but Rydia has been in Dissidia and Cecil hasn't fallen off yet. She looked decent in CB9 despite losing to Alucard and a likely boosted Captain Falcon. And she does benefit from TJF.

Indy I will say Low Midcarder for - barely. He is still an iconic character as of today, but the Indiana Jones franchise has pretty much been dormant since the Lego games. And aside from the point-and-click Fate of Atlantis, there isn't really a standout Indy game.

Gundham is Low Fodder. Danganronpa is pretty niche and a character will need to somehow stand out to voters who haven't played the series to be better than low fodder.

Mid Fodder for Robocop. I don't see too many people really caring about him, and none of the Robocop games seem to be good. His design is the only thing that will stand out in a match.

Barry is High Fodder thanks to his classic cheesy dialogue from the OG Resident Evil - "You were almost a Jill sandwich!"

Katherine probably isn't as well-liked as her C counterpart but definitely does have her fans. Her conservative design also prevents her from taking advantage of TJF. I say Mid Fodder for her.

I say Mid Fodder for Lavos. It looked fine in the villain contest, but Chrono Trigger in general was a lot stronger in 2005. Lavos nowadays I think is viewed as "non-character who happens to be the final boss of CT". I can maybe buy it being at the floor of high fodder.

Agree with Low Midcarder for Cid. Though I will say that I think Barret is stronger than Cid nowadays.

I will go in the middle of the current votes for Goofy and say he is Fodder Line. I think that Donald Duck is better liked than Goofy as far as Kingdom Hearts goes, but he has plenty more places to get votes from. Namely countless other Disney games and the Goof Troop series from the 90s. Gfaqs is the right demographic to have nostalgia for Goof Troop and A Goofy Movie, and probably identify with his fatherly role in the series.
