Odd that the longer version wasn't included for streaming. I've never actually seen the shorter one.

I will say though. If you like hentai or are more into anime girls than real girls, you should probably get outside more.

I'm not sure that is fair. Is it really weirder to watch hentai than any of the zillion clips of real people labeled "step sister" or "step brother" that seem to flow freely on every porn site? All porn is strange and private. As long as what you are watching is legal where you live and you aren't hurting anybody, go for it.

Regarding the main subject of this topic, absolutely not. Anime isn't nearly as popular or accepted as something like sports or even TV sitcoms, but popularity and social acceptance shouldn't control what you do in your personal time. Maybe it depends on where you live, but around here, if what you do on weekends doesn't involve football or church, you've already lost most people.

Can I choose a date prior to the day I get my powers for my first save state? Being able to live a chunk of your life over again before you had made the choice to between the two would add an interesting dimension to the choice.

No, because The Simpsons was at its peak in the mid to late 90s.

It's "Trails in the Sky", not "of the Sky". Anyway, you need to play the first two Sky games before playing anything else. The second one literally picks up the next day after the first one. Essentially, they are one long game that had to be split into two because no one game can be that long. The third Sky game is a dungeon crawler that rewards you with extra information and some insight into the Church.

Cold Steel is a step down from Sky in every way. I mean it looks nicer, and maybe you'll like the newer battle system better, but that's about it. Spoilers abound, so you will need to finish the Sky trilogy first if you are serious about the series.

Season 1 was great. Season 2 started off great, but by the end it was terrible. It was like the writers got their own plot points confused and struggled to tie everything together.

1. The seven signals appeared across the galaxy in the beginning of the season, and were spread out in such a way that they couldn't be located exactly. Yet when they appear again, only one of the seven signals was on the other side of the galaxy. The rest were close together and reachable by normal space flight.

2. The Red Angel had such incredible powers that everyone was certain it came from the future. Yet after they decided to make it about Micheal's family, the plot changes to the suit being from at least a decade in the past. The time crystals explain how the Federation was able to build a time suit with their relatively primitive technology, but everything else the suit does besides flying isn't something you'd be able to do even in the 24th century. They are able to scan and interface with the suit too after they capture the Red Angel, and no mention is made of future technology or alien technology. Honestly, with Control having wiped everything out, where would she even have gotten it from?

3. Dr. Culber is 100% certain the Red Angel is Micheal, with no way to fake it. Then he's all like "well, mothers and daughters are a pretty close match?" when it turns out to be Micheal's mom. And then when they build the second suit, only Micheal can use it because of the genetic similarity between her and her mother. What? Genetics don't work like that, and any lockout on the suit wouldn't either or it would be useless to Section 31. In fact, you probably wouldn't want the single specialist working on the suit to be the test user, or even one at all (for security and practical reasons).

4. The sphere data can't be deleted, but it can be transferred. So transfer it to portable storage and fly it into the sun inside of shuttle. Getting rid of the sphere data was a lot less complicated than they made it, which is a problem when it is the show's central conflict.

5. I think that the writers forgot how slow warp drive is. When the Section 31 fleet is coming for Discovery, jumping away with the Spore Drive would have worked just fine. In a single jump, Discovery could have been a lifetime away from Federation space. Even if you've never seen other Star Trek shows, they had to jump that far away to get the second signal around that planet with the primitive humans. Even if future Control gave its past self a way to build a working Spore Drive (no evidence of that), it still wouldn't help if Discovery's jump was random. It would never be found.

6. The final battle against Section 31 was ridiculous. Lines of communication were being blocked by Section 31, but they could still contact the Enterprise for backup and Saru's letter somehow got to Kaminar. The Ba'ul hated and feared the Kelpians, but apparently seeing the Red Angel changed all that and made them feel like teaching the people who used to eat them how to fly their ships so Saru's sister could appear in the finale. Tyler goes to the Klingons for help and gets it. Remember, his death and the death of his son had to be faked to keep Lorel in power. He can't be seen to be alive by Klingons without undermining her leadership and peace with the Federation. Sarek knew where Micheal was and the trouble she was in, but didn't think to bring backup from Vulcan and instead just showed up in his private shuttle with Amanda to say goodbye. Killing Leland somehow kills Control despite the fact that Control was software and was distributed across at least the entire Section 31 fleet and who knows where else. If Leland really was a weak point, it would have infested a second person and sent them instead.

7. Micheal. Red Angel's daughter, the Red Angel, starts a war, ends a war, talks over Captains and Admirals with nothing being said, etc. It's too much. Couldn't anyone else be important?

I think Part II is a more exciting and interesting film, but it is held back by the young Vito plot. I just didn't find it engrossing, and for that reason, I'd pick Part I.
