Marth and Phoenix Wright aren't exactly killers, but Nightmare lost really hard to them - doubled by the latter, even. If those two can blow him up effortlessly, there aren't gonna be many frequently returning characters who can't.

Even if the pic was the main problem there, he's not necessarily gonna get a chance to look much better the next time he gets shoved into a tiny round 1 match picture. I recall Zen has ranted at length about the difficulty of making good looking Nightmare pictures where he really gets to show off his big stupid arm.

Also, the Soul Calibur franchise has been in poor shape for a long time now and I don't see gamefaqs caring much about Nightmare or his games in 2019.

The original Mobile Suit Gundam is good in either TV or Movie form (arguably the only movies mostly consisting of previously-released TV content that are worth watching in all of anime?) and the TV series even has a good dub! The dub of the movies wasn't very good but any rights to that should have expired long ago so I assume this has gotta be the sub version they're showing.

UC is Universal Century, basically Gundam's main universe. There are a lot of alternate universes.

Dragonlord (Dragon Quest) - Low fodder

Real skeptical that looking like a dragon is enough for mid fodder, and he's not even guaranteed to get a dragon picture. I don't think people care besides those who like his game and the original Dragon Quest is...yeah.

Conker (Conker's Bad Fur Day) - Mid fodder

He's not at all strong but I would take him to trash pretty much all of low fodder. Mumbo, Gex, and Ripto just strike me as intuitively not on Conker's level. Conker > Sly Cooper also seems likely to me but we probably ranked the latter too high so whatever.

Banjo (Banjo-Kazooie) - Low-midcarder

I don't feel great about it and he's probably on the low end of the tier though.

Yennefer of Vengerberg (The Witcher) - Mid Fodder

I know very little about Witcher but I respect Geralt's performances enough to assume prominent secondary characters from it aren't completely hopeless. People seem to actually care about the plot too, unlike Elder Scrolls!

Abominable Snow Monster (SkiFree) - Low Fodder.

Probably on the bottom end of it though. SkiFree as a game would be law fodder because absolutely nobody here actually cares, possibly-not-abysmal playrate be damned, but the Monster is a funny option that anyone who played the game will recognize.

Jimi Hendrix (Guitar Hero) - Low Fodder.

Musicians in general are too easily boxed in to particular subcultures to do much here. Gamefaqs' subculture is gaming, not music, so they're almost all going to be weak unless they have near universal recognition without also getting outright dismissed or ignored by anyone not in their dedicated fanbase. The pool is further restricted because I don't see gamefaqs voting for a female performer. And even those few who qualify would face further issues due to questionable relevance as "characters."

Basically, if they're not Elvis or Michael Jackson, I don't even think they're even worth considering. Maybe the Beatles are around that level collectively, but none of them individually. Maybe Weird Al just because he's well known enough, everyone likes Weird Al, and the parodies of mainstream culture might appeal in particular to nerds.

I think the way youve been doing it might make sense in general because ages for individuals dont round up; someone one day away from turning 33 isnt 33; theyre 32.

If were using the average age to also calculate the average date of birth though, then yeah, the implied decimals after someones age matter and shouldnt be truncated and so 31 would be better as the average of 29-32 than 30.5.

Yusuke - low fodder. About the right time period for this site but hes had nothing to keep relevant since, no good or popular games released in the u.s., and unlike Pokemon/dbz/etc his show wasnt on the local stations for universal u.s. viewing opportunity, you had to have Cartoon Network.
