I see the media fascination with the Joker movie as being kind of like that. Nobody wanted incel attacks to happen, except of course the incels themselves. Reporters wanted stories to report on, because that's what reporters do, but they didn't want people to suffer and die. How did you arrive at this conclusion? You stated the bold as facts, but I haven't seen any credible evidence of this anywhere. If anything, I'd like to think that incels did NOT want any violence to happen because they know they'd be blamed entirely for it and other people would shit on them more than they already do.

It's probably not a good idea to compare them. Joker is a serious movie that happens to have some ties to comic book characters and the world in which they live. It could have been named something else, with a few elements changed, and still be great. MCU movies aren't really like that. If you divorce them from their comic book origins, the suspension of disbelief falls apart. We more easily accept a talking raccoon with a big gun and a space alien who conveniently looks like a male fitness model with a flying hammer because we know it's a comic book movie. These movies are all enjoyable, but we approach them differently and expect something different from the experience.

I don't know all of Tim Pool's opinions or actions, so I can only speak about that specific vid when he talks about wanting a wife who is focused on him and the kids. He wasn't wrong in having that preference, he admits it's not for everyone, he continuously praised career women for being financially successful, and nobody here was able to explain why it was supposedly terrible of him to say it.

Regarding this game, you either like the genre and what you've seen or read about the product, or you don't. If you're going to base your purchase on what these developers said, then that's your right. I'll backtrack on my first reply and say that it's Ok to not financially support someone you don't like. I don't fully understand it because a game is either good (i.e. fun) for you or it's not, regardless of who made it. But I should have been more open to the fact that not every customer agrees.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into that more. Gotta admit that I don't like longer videos, if it feels like they could be much shorter and concise, but satisfying the algorithm makes sense.
