relistening again there and i maintain the mixing or whatever you want to the call the extreme 'loudness' throughout kinda makes full run throughs a bit tiring in places but otherwise still holds up

prob easily the best mcr album tbh. i remember liking stuff from their debut a lot back in the day but am kinda w/e on it now. tbh i don't really like tbp that much!!

I don't have any obsessive love for Star Wars. I grew up around the prequels so got into the sheer merchandising force around them and obviously liked the originals but I don't care all that much about the franchise generally. It's exactly that, a franchise

That said, I will always really liked how TLJ attempted to do things differently, how it wasn't just a tired ANH retread with zillions of mystery boxes for fans to chew over. For them to simultaneously try and play it safe once again while also, by the sounds, giving TROS this manic video game esque feel just sounds awful tbh. I'll prob go see it with my parents all the same

What annoys me is that you have to warn people that coffee will be hot...iced/chilled coffee is usually labeled as such so common sense says you're coffee is hot unless you ordered cold coffee specifically.

You know, TLJ is the only SW film in recent memory I find remotely interesting but I think I'd defo trade it for relative online peace and a trilogy of original trilogy retreads that SW fans so richly deserve instead.

It's amazing how trying to add a bit of added humanity to a character is seen as ruining them. Luke conquered every self doubt and internal issue by the end of ROTJ, his personalty must be as smooth as a marble and that's it!
