| Calwings 10/11/19 9:14:51 PM #9 | In some of the earlier games, there was a support system where you could build supports between pairs of characters by having them fight together, which would grant them stat boosts and unlock support conversations. However, in those earlier games, very few of these supports actually led to romantic pairings or paired endings, and they were mostly side stories to learn more about those characters. It wasn't until Awakening when they expanded the support system, gave the player an avatar character and allowed the option to marry a recruitable character, then both Fates and Three Houses would follow suit. WWE's matches are 100% scripted from top to bottom because Vince McMahon is an egomaniacal control freak who needs to micromanage everything. Most other wrestling promotions just tell the wrestlers a few major bullet points to hit during the match (a couple of big spots and then the ending) and let the wrestlers fill the gaps however they think it'll work best. Iegend posted... - are mega evolutions like an in battle transformation or actual permanent evolution for the pokemon that they apply to? They're in-battle transformations using a mega stone that last the remainder of the battle, and you can only mega evolve once per battle. Unlike Z-moves, mega evolutions saw widespread use and turned some previously terrible Pokemon (like Kangaskhan and Mawile) and some already pretty good Pokemon (like Metagross) into absolute monsters. Not all mega evolutions were better than the originals though, and since they cost the Pokemon its hold item (to hold the correct mega stone), some mega evolutions (like Alakazam and Garchomp) were actually inferior to their normal counterparts holding a useful item like a Life Orb. That main event was a lot of fun, and holy shit, the brawl afterwards was insane. Overall, it was another great show. Also, Darby Allin is going to be a megastar someday. Maybe not next week (I don't see him beating Jericho), but someday. That episode was so amazing, not just for the incredible action, but for Anna easily clinching the title of the angriest woman in the entire season.   *spoilers for episodes 6 and 7, but not further* I also loved how these two episodes   She basically acknowledged in this scene that she has no reason to fight in Granbelm other than for the sake of fighting. On top of that, while everyone else has her goals and ambitions that mean a lot more to them, Mangetsu is not only totally okay with destroying their dreams for the sake of her selfish desire to keep feeling special (by fighting) but is excited to do so. | Calwings 10/06/19 8:51:15 PM #53 | I'll second the recommendations for Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Black Lagoon, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Gurren Lagann, One Punch Man, and Madoka Magica. Seriously, I can't stress it enough: if you can look past the cute moe artstyle, Madoka Magica is really fucking good.  If you watch and enjoy this one and can learn to look past moe artstyles, there are plenty of other great action shows that have a female-heavy cast but are just as badass as the male-heavy action shows.
