That's because of the same thing I mentioned before. If you're a Republican who supports impeachment then you're not a Republican anymore. It's a tautology. That wasn't the case with Clinton.

It's a big gamble by the Republicans to shed all non-trumpers like this but it's probably the right move in the short term. Long term they seem fucked either way (unless the trumpers get their dictatorship) but who knows.

And Amash was way ahead of everyone else on impeachment to. How can you say the process was partisan when one of the main leaders was a Republican? It makes no sense.

I like a lot of Tulsi but that vote was dumb af. If Trump is obviously guilty then vote yes. If you hate partisanship then go independent, THEN vote yes, like Amash. It takes no bravery to acquit a criminal.

I am not going to judge which party is at fault here, but one party is clearly wrong.

To be fair, you have to remember that Amash was a Republican and had to quit in order to vote for impeachment.

The media seems to forget that way too much when saying "no Republicans impeached!!" which is technically true, but 3 months ago it wouldn't be true.

That said, it is pretty damning that the one Republican who had the guts to impeach was not allowed in the party anymore.

Oh yeah about this, the plan would be to avoid the senate voting to skip the trial by just not giving them the vote. The house still has control for now and they can delay it for as long as they want. I'm not sure if thats the strategy they're taking but it's definitely the best option to btfo the trumpers.

The impeachment is over now but the trial can go on real long. The Republicans need to get things over with ASAP, but they have no power to do so unless they agree to actually have a trial, which defeats the purpose of getting it done fast. It's a no-win situation.

The standard that Republicans are attacking here is that impeachable Presidents should be impeached. The dream alternative is that no President is ever impeachable. No more popular check on the executive. Once they finishing using Trump to get all the people to give up their power, THEN they've won.

His intern copied this from reddit. That's not a strategy. Go check out the rest of his tweets and every other republican's feed to see what their actual strategy is. They literally think they are on the right side of facts and justice and are using constitutional rhetoric. Not even Trump supporters will swallow that.

But obviously Trump supporters will follow Trump no matter what, so the strength of the arguments don't matter at all. Republicans know that, so instead they are taking this opportunity to just obliterate as much of the Constitution as they can. They don't want to ignore all the illegal things Trump and others have admitted to doing to, but instead celebrate them. The Constitution is the absolute enemy in every way, and the only solution is Trump (through his 3rd and 4th terms at least). Trump supporters have been watching this happening for years and every single time they choose Trump over the United States. That is the battle that is being fought here.

Ask them though. The worst case is that you just take the new job anyways, but there's a chance you could stay at your comfortable spot and still get the raise.

That said, I think people massively undervalue moving to a new company. Comfort is nice but that's not how you advance in your career.

Plus, you picked your current place without knowing how it would be, and ended up liking it a lot. Logically, this new place has an even higher chance of being likable because you have more experience and know what to look for. Unless there's some red flags.

Reddit is entirely mob based. 1000 people can ridicule him, 900 can seriously engage him, and what you see is 1000 people ridiculing him. On b8, 1000 people can ridicule him, 1 person can seriously engage him, and then you have a 500 topic of him arguing with that 1 person over 4 days.

That's all it is. We ignore him enough already here, enough that he has largely ran away to other boards, but it's impossible to really silence him like reddit does. They're doing the same thing really, pointing at him and laughing, literally obsessed. It's just not designed to end up giving him a platform. You can barely even have a single thread that's 3 messages long there, let alone 500.

Killing Oliver was great. He is always sacrificing himself anyway. They're trying to bring him back but I hope it doesn't quite work. I get that Arrowverse started with him but he had his peak last year already.

I haven't watched any of Batwoman and people say Ruby Rose is kinda dry but in these episodes she's really awesome.

Overall I'm really impressed with this so far. It feels like it has the same scope and caliber of events as something like Endgame, even though the budget is obviously microscopic in comparison. It's all pretty easy to follow too. Even if it's a bit confusing why Oliver has such an old daughter and why Lex Luthor is mexican. It's got a serious lack of the Flash though. But I'm guessing the majority of the next 3 episodes will deal with his part.

Well in KH1 they were by definition fresh since the concept of putting all these worlds together along with Final Fantasy was just mind-blowing. KH2 boosted the flashiness and cinematics and (for better or worse) the plot's insanity. BBS was all new characters and somehow actually had some good writing. Only a few years apart so they seemed to keep up with the times.

KH3 took 10 years to give us the same old characters, minus a ton of them for no reason, and largely downgraded plot, cinematics, and gameplay. The most radical things were the Toy Story graphics (awesome yet totally irrelevant) and the pirates world (discount ripoff of another old game). There was absolutely nothing to do but wait for the inevitable KH story stuff (and wait, and wait). None of the other games were like that at all.

Yeah I guess the larger point is that nothing in the game felt new or fresh, so there's no way filler could be fun. You have to be getting cool KH story moments, or else. Seems like that's their strategy for the DLC though.

That was the case far before this trailer came out.

These fights all look copy/pasted from KH2 though. And god damn Riku's voice. He makes Aqua sound like Mickey in comparison. But I gotta admit that playable Kairi got me super hype...

The story does look cool though. It's good that they can focus all on the KH story now. I wonder if they just needed the Disney filler in the KH3 base game as part of a contract or something.
