This is dumb. Obviously if you play a priest you want to heal and support sometimes but not 100% of the time. It's cool that priests can actually be DPS if they want to be, and also healers. If it took less than 300 hours to level up a character it would be a different issue.

None of us had wives back then but if the situation was there they would be all over it. Well that was their talk anyway. But a lot of them we've known for long enough to know they are more than just talk.

That's what Lasa was talking about and what Corrik doesn't get. These aren't just some kids of youtube calling you gay and telling you to kys. It's people we've known for a long time and know real things they have done and have had happened to them. You have to take them seriously.

For example, the people here who still make light of depression and suicide, or dangle suicide statistics for LGBT people etc, after having experienced multiple users literally posting suicide notes here and then dying. It's not just trolling and it's not ignorant and it's definitely not harmless. It's purposeful and shameless. To just ignore that behavior or at most be "annoyed" by their "shenanigans" shows such a lack of regard for your fellow individual that it can only be explained as an expression of hate itself.

I don't think if someone hates you then the urge is to hate them back. At least for most people. The typical reaction is more confusion or apathy or something. It's almost always apathy actually. So rarely does it result in introspection and self improvement. You can see that here with how proudly apathetic many people are. That is the natural result of a hateful culture.

Fascism is always the end goal of a government. The point is how much power the individual has to resist moving towards that.

Communist sympathizers can't imagine that their dear overlords would ever turn evil, while in the same breath dismissing all existing and past examples of that exact thing by saying that all government systems can lead to fascism. As if it's not a problem just because it's not a unique problem.
