Freedom Planet replicated the 90s Sonic feel and did something totally original with it. I've been a fan since I was a kid, and I have to say that Freedom Planet is better than every classic Sonic game. It isn't perfect, but no game is. |

Anyone who would take the money hasn't watched someone shrivel up and die from cancer or get stuck in a wheelchair for life from a car accident or brain injury. Money might solve your problems now, but old age, sickness, and death come for everyone in the end. Magical healing would be the gift that just kept on giving. |

So your family member owed a $100 copay for insurance you claim they didn't have? Also, nowhere in the real world can you talk to the hospital and and negotiate giving them so little money. Based on some quick research, unless you are in an extremely rare situation, the most you can expect to get your costs reduced by is about 40%. |

I know it use to be common about a decade ago for creative types to heavily favor Macs (for nebulous reasons nobody could quite explain), but that trend seems to have started to falloff as PCs have brought so much more value for the money. Most things are cross platform these days too. I don't work in the industry, but I do art as a hobby and there has been a pretty strong trend of professionals and teachers you find content from switching from Mac to PC for creative stuff. If I had the money, I'd have a Mac for daily use because they are pleasant to use. But if the software you want is available on Windows and Mac, not getting a PC is just dumb, especially for that amount of money. Especially if you are talking about audio. Toss in the sound card of your choice into a custom-built rig and rejoice. |

I wonder if these were videos with low view counts. I only view adult videos with hundreds of thousands of views, and I've never seen anything shady. You'd think that if these had many eyes on them they would have been reported sooner by someone who thought they looked off. But in general I think it would be hard for a viewer or a site to know content like this was bad unless she looked really young, said something strange in the video, or if it had a funky title. This is just sad all around. |

Like, I get wanting a Mac, but if you are willing to shell out that much money, there are a ton of better options that will serve you better for whatever it is you want to do. |

I'm fairly certain it is now standard to store logs for a much longer period of time, at least several years. Yes, your ISP knows every website you visit. If you'd like more privacy, get a subscription to a reputable VPN. |

You can pay cash for most doctor visits and it won't cost you that much. What fantasy world are you living in? The only people who don't need insurance are those who get sick once a year and don't need any tests. While you can do your part by not smoking, drinking too much, and eating healthy foods, serious illnesses, chronic diseases, and devastating accidents are a part of life that you really can't get away from. You'll never know in advance when it will be your turn. |

While Skynet's core operations would be in some sealed military bunker(s), most human technology would vanish with us when it made its first strike on Judgement Day. It would take time for Skynet to develop the kind of infrastructure it would need to research and develop the futuristic weapons we see in the future, to say nothing of their mass production. This would give humans time to dig in. Guerilla warfare has been a surprisingly successful tactic throughout human history. Starting from scratch with limited knowledge of what humans were up to during its build phase, it would take ages for Skynet to start finding hidden human settlements. Skynet is an AI, not a person inside of a machine. We don't know what its priorities are. For example, it might be devoting the bulk of its time and energy on scientific research or self-evolution. Reese mentions that Skynet maintains death camps for humans in T1, so it may not want to kill every wild human. It may have other uses for us in mind. Training its weapons using "free range" humans might actually be a thing. But don't forget that the entire reason the resistance "wins" against Skynet is John Conner. The future humans know when and where to strike Skynet because John Conner got that information from Sarah, who got it from Reese, who...got it from John Conner. Without the paradox caused by time travel, humanity would have stood no chance against Skynet. |

A not insignificant number of people seemed ill-prepared for even a watered down college-level education. I first went to college over a decade ago now, and I don't recall it being nearly this bad. I think degrees have increased in importance and a ton more people are being funneled into college than are ready for it. I don't look down on people who don't attend classes. I just hope they figure things out and are able to move forward with their lives at some point. |
