i think 8 is the more unique/interesting experience

9 was more of a serenade to players who enjoyed ff1-5 and didn't like the hybrid fantasy/sci-fi route that 6-8 had taken

if they fixed the game speed in ff9 for the switch version it might be more of a debate, but the ps1 wasn't powerful enough to run the game at a good rate

At a certain point, reviews are less critique and more entertainment

Obviously the movie didn't literally make the reviewer dislike movies, but it's funnier that way

Just like I'm sure the reviewers saw the movie, I am just sure they aren't giving an accurate critique, but rather an entertaining one

When people start competing for the most flowery or visceral adjectives, that's a signal to me that they're focusing on entertainment

Youre probably in chapter 12! What I did was camp out on the roof of the tallish (tallest?) building in the southeast end of the map. I think only one attack pattern ever actually threatened me there. Keep shooting until you're out of ammo, then go down on the south side to get some more weapons/blood, then climb back up.
Might be true of other buildings on the map, but thats the one I used.

I got past most difficult bosses by being more willing to eat my stockpile of health bugs. I do recommend saving them for said bosses

I gave ff13 a real shot. It has the worst writing I have ever seen. Non sequiturs, nonsense vocabulary, clumsy pauses. Nothing makes sense unless you look everything up on a wiki ahead of time

It has the dumbest boss battles- waaay too long, and with vague, arbitrary triggers that cause the entire fight to be reset when you get them wrong the first time.

On the other hand, it has beautiful art direction

I was looking into building a computer I think two years ago

It ended up being cheaper to just buy a $1500 cyber power desktop with the same specs/ parts than to build my own

It's holding up very well so far, but obviously a lot comes down to luck of the draw

Edit; I buy a computer on average every seven years, so yes I do go overboard
