WCW is garbage near the end. Why were you all still watching it at the end?

By that time I preferred WWF, but in my heart I would always love WCW. I watched it first and it just had something WWF didn't. The atmosphere and tone and style. Even when they just started ripping of WWF they still had a bit of what made it special. Toward the very, very end it started to get a bit better, but it was too late.

I want to say they played 8th MS Team on regular Toonami. That's when I remember watching it.

Too bad they cut the original series short because of 9/11. It was the one I really liked. At least I got to see it later.

Gundam Wing doesn't hold up for me. A few years ago I tried rewatching it. Couldn't get past episode 15 or so. The music is still awesome even the cheesy intro and outro.

Was a fan for almost 25 myself at the time (1980 - 2002).

After WCW went under I simply lost interest.

While I'm younger, WCW going down is what killed my wrestling love until old clips on the internet came around. Check out NWA Power on YouTube if you haven't already. It has the classic old school style and feel.

The Ewoks never bothered me. Yeah, they're a little too kiddy and obviously there for the kids, but they're not godawful like people make them out to be. The rest of the movie well makes up for them anyway.

I don't know about these warned generals, but mods have always done shit like this.

Here's a tale for you:

A little pseudo secret board had a problem with an obnoxious poster (who's still going today) who constantly made topics. The poster complained and the mods just told us "lol just ignore him/get thicker skin!". The topics he posted were generally news/political topics that the board still wanted to talk about and they made other topics for discussion.

The mods didn't like that and started deleting topics. Even Krystal got involved somehow if I remember right and told us to stop being meanies, essentially. If it's the same thing I'm thinking of, one of the good mods (who would delete these obviously disruptive and trolling topics) got his modship revoked. It's been so long that I could be getting multiple stories mixed, but I'm pretty sure about this.

But for all I know these lockings and deletions could be legit, but I wanted to share that story.

Generally clean for the most part on average. Vocals moreso than the music. There's a few heavy songs I dig though, but they're few and far between. I just have a low tolerance for real heavy stuff, but if it's good, I'll listen.

Traditional and thrash are my favorite subgenres.

Seriously though, The Shining is one of the few horror movies I really like/love. As a nerd and a fan of books, I can totally understand why people would hate this movie, but I've never read the book or any Stephen King books so I'm unaffected in this regard.

I doubt there would be that much controversy unless he does/did a super awful thing. At this point, James is almost like an employee to his own channel. It's pretty much being run by those Screenwave guys. He's distanced himself so much I doubt anything will happen with him.

I think the closest controversy he had was when he said that he wouldn't watch the all-female Ghostbusters reboot. Some sites and Twitter users who probably never heard of him until then started attacking him for it.

There is a good point in all this despite the generalization of liberals. Lots of liberals do get caught up in the memes and tweets and stuff. When some Democrat politician posts a political meme or "roasts" some Republican or does mocks Republican in some way (like the Pelosi clapping) you get many responses like "Oh shit OWNED! REPUBLICANS BTFO!!!1". Same goes for when John Oliver or Bill Mahr or some other celebrity makes a potentially funny video. Yeah, that's nice and all, but ultimately it means nothing. They make these "victories" out to actually be something when they're not.

Of course the right does the same thing. I'd say they're more caught up in the "memes" than liberals are.
