Not really close for me. AA vs Trials and Tribs I have to think about, but AA vs JFA... I prefer 1-1, 1-2 and 1-3 to their JFA counterparts. 2-4 ekes out 1-4 maybe, but it's close and certainly doesn't bridge the gap.

I like it as a fantasy in which Sharon Tate lives and so does her baby and all that. There's a sweetness to that. But there's a lot of stuff there that wasn't necessary and also wasn't entertaining. It was still good fun, tied together by the ending. There was a lot in the first half I could have done without. Overlong perhaps.

It's a little bit off-topic since it's not really about the paintings, but holy shit the amount of stuff is unreal. Like there's stuff stacked on top of stuff and it's all really interesting and cool. I could have spent days in that thing

in wg's defense, i definitely remember feeling... vaguely uneasy when i went to new york as a european, knowing how important guns are to american culture. sure, it's irrational, and i don't expect americans to get it, but i think there are more non-americans having similar feelings than you might assume. that being said, i wouldn't cancel a trip to the US because of this.

Yeah I would never cancel a trip, but I can understand being a little uneasy. I've been to other countries recently, knowing the fears are irrational but being a little more...on my toes nonetheless.

Cold brew is a nice novelty but I tend to come back to a simple Americano more than anything.

But also Flat White, Cappuccino, Espresso are great
