I don't have an opinion on punching up humor.

Punching down comes across as distasteful. I'm thinking about movies from the 80s that made fun of gay people for example. It comes across badly and I think it's rare for somebody to be able to do it in a way that doesn't come across as mean.

So many humans have made bigger sacrifices than Jesus. Also God can literally poof Jesus back to life or make another Jesus if he wanted to, if he is actually omnipotent. So it's not like Jesus's death is any skin off his nose. The only point of it is that it makes God suddenly forgive us for sinning for some reason that makes no sense?

Roy was a douchey boyfriend to Pam. He got violent when he found out she was cheating (I don't care if it's shocking, his reaction was absurd) and even tried to attack Jim the next work day, which is premeditated assault. He also didn't know how to treat her. On valentines day when she confided she was disappointed he didn't get her anything, he told her her treat would be the best sex ever. And when she was feeling insecure at her art show, he gave the most pathetic praise to her art ever that showed how little he understood her. He abandoned her on their first date. And his attitude in general clearly wasn't right for Pam. (He was also nice to her sometimes)

That said, Jim was a prick for trying to snag Pam when she was still engaged to Roy. Even if Roy was a bad BF, Jim still was overstepping boundaries to get Pam.

It's just sheer dumb luck that it worked out for them all in the end and Roy ended up a better person in a better relationship.

Not east Asian, but there is an Indian guy at my gym who never wears deodorant and presumably not soap either. He stinks up a 40-foot radius every time he is here. I started bringing febreze with me to the gym.

He just walks past me without greeting me, and if i see him when i get at the gym, he turns away when he notices me before I'm able to wave to him. This only started after he found out from another friend that I'm gay. He doesn't realize I know he learned I'm gay. He responds if I greet him up in person, but never starts a conversation.

I cant say for sure that he is ignoring me because I'm gay but it feels like it :/ we were friendly until now. There was one time he got defensive when he misheard me and thought I was saying he was gay.

Maybe I'm just misinterpreting it. But it's pretty lame if true
