Music absolutely helps.

When I get really into the music while exercising, I can even start to feel the blood pumping through my head.

That said, I don't think metal and rock are the "best" music for exercising. I like all kinds of music, and sometimes it's pop, jazz, classical, disco, funk, or even ambient or avant garde music that put me in the zone. I couldn't bear to listen to nothing but rock and heavy metal at the gym all the time, it'd wear thin pretty quickly.

The reason it flopped is that this movie features Asian Americans with white people problems, and China is already inundated with loads of dramedies like this that have basically the same story flow. This movie was a landmark in American cinematic representation, but to Chinese people it's just another dramedie.

Well now we know you never played past Gen 2.

They're right IMO...it introduced more game-changing content than any other game. Held items, gender and breeding, the time cycle, dual regions, and more.

Gen 3's biggest things were abilities and double battles
Gen 4--allocating each move to special/physical, online gameplay
Gen 5--nothing particularly revolutionary. Seasons were mostly meaningless, and triple/rotation battles went nowhere.
Gen 6--mega evolutions are pretty big, but they're pretty isolated
Gen 7--alolan forms and z moves

The problem is that unlocking content is not as fun when it's old content. And 90+% of this game is old content.

I don't mind unlocking the characters, but it's definitely not as charming as it was in Melee where almost every unlockable character was a newcomer.

I'll get it, I love SSB, but I'm not super hyped for it like I should be. Because it only has 5 unique newcomers, and even though most of them are cool, the only ones I really wanted are Ridley and Isabelle, one of which is a semiclone. It's missing characters from Golden Sun, Advance Wars, Rhythm Heaven, Minecraft, and more. And it only has four new stages, wtf.

But I haven't played SSB for a few years ever since I gave my Wii U to my brothers. So it'll be nice to have it again even if it's hardly any new content and missing so much old content like trophies, crazy orders, smash run, home run contest, adventure mode, and so on

I know there was a big thing a while back but what have they done? Donate to religious groups? They aren't open Sundays due to religious beliefs, I guess, so donating to religious causes seems not out of expected. Do they discriminate against people or what? Honest question, not trolling

They donate money to anti-gay groups. They said they would stop, but then they made a later statement that vaguely rescinded their promise, and then we found out they were still actually making anti-gay donations after all.

And yeah, the Salvation Army (which is a Protestant Church btw) is an awful charitable organization and doesn't deserve people's attention when there are so many charities (including churches) that don't deservedy have a fully multifaceted "controversies" section on their wikipedia article.

I'm not saying anybody should feel bad if they choose to eat at Chick fil a. Just that Chick Fil A is run by morons and they don't get to whine about being called anti-gay when it's clearly deserved.

It has been nearly five years since Cathy, facing national backlash, vowed to stay out of the debate and focus on chicken. At that time, the company launched a very small charm offensive, issuing a statement that the company will treat every person with honor, dignity and respect-regardless of their beliefs, race, creed, sexual orientation and gender. (Chick-fil-A did not back this up with any LGBTQ-inclusive non-discrimination policy. )

But has anything changed? It sure doesnt look that way. While the companys non-profit arms scaled back support for some of the groups that actively push an anti-gay agenda, the Chick-fil-A Foundations most recent IRS filings show it gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to anti-LGBTQ organizations in 2015. Though its websites FAQ claims the foundation is focused on helping every child become all they were created to be, its donations went to groups that do not believe this includes LGBTQ youth.

For example, the Chick-fil-A Foundation gave more than $1 million in 2015 (nearly one-sixth of its total grants) to the the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The religious organization, which seeks to utilize athletes and coaches to spread Christian teachings, imparts a strongly anti-LGBTQ message. Staff and volunteers with the organization have been required to adhere to a strict sexual purity policy, prohibiting any homosexual acts, even for married couples. The group takes the view that, The Bible is clear in teaching on sexual sin including sex outside of marriage and homosexual acts. Neither heterosexual sex outside of marriage nor any homosexual act constitute an alternative lifestyle acceptable to God.

The foundation also gave more than $200,000 to the Paul Anderson Youth Home, a Georgia-based transformative organization that operates a Christian residential home for troubled youth. Focusing on boys, their teachings include the idea that the sexual, physical, and mental abuse of children, mostly in the alleged safety of their own homes has produced all kinds of evil throughout the culture to include the explosion of homosexuality in the last century. The myth that people are LGBTQ due to abuse is a claim frequently made by anti-LGBTQ organizations to promote harmful ex-gay therapy.

Additionally, the Chick-fil-A Foundation gave at least $130,000 to the Salvation Army. The religious organization has a long history of anti-LGBTQ housing discrimination, opposition to same-sex marriage equality, and supporting exemptions from non-discrimination ordinances. One page on its website, entitled The Salvation Army and the LGBT Community, boasts that the group adheres to all relevant employment laws, providing domestic partner benefits accordingly. Given that only a minority of states explicitly bar anti-LGBTQ discrimination, thats a low bar.

The Human Rights Campaigns most recent scorecard rates Chick-fil-A a 0 on LGBTQ-inclusive policies (or lack thereof). With its continued foundation giving to those who preach anti-LGBTQ values at least $1.4 million in 2015 alone it does not appear that the group has yet lived up to its promise to focus on poultry.

Starting a few years ago, the filmmakers started attaching bits before their movies about how hard they worked on the movie and it's coming across a little hard now. Pixar came across as straight up insecure apologizing for taking so long for the incredibles 2.

Leave it for twitter or the DVD specials--we dont need that crap on top of the 18 minutes of movie previews and animated pre-movie shorts. If you worked so hard, we will be able to see it in the product itself and won't need to be told about it before we watch it.

And why not? That all sounds great.

For Disney it's great. These are huge moneymakers for them, and they are extremely safe bets. I hate them because not only are they redundant, they also are all unexpressive shadows of the originals, with CGI characters that can't emote since they're meant to look realistic, and neutered soundtracks. And stylized animation looks so much more beautiful than realistic animation.
