And there are different behaviors for the Pokemon when you have them out following you. My Oddish would lag behind and would have to dash to catch up when it got too far back, my Rattata just kinda runs around excitedly, and now my Beedrill is flying in front of me and leading the way in a menacing manner.

And to be fair to Jakyl, the Bliss fake turn promos happened at a time when they were doing things that could suggest she might actually turn face, such as Team Little Big acknowledging each other/talking each other up outside of MMC and while Braun was face, so it made them a bit more believable.

I would argue that Jim abandoning her for long periods of time and forcing her to raise their kid alone while he pursued some "dream" of his he had never mentioned, while investing 10k of their savings (which was all of it), and somehow being oblivious to her sadness was worse than anything Roy ever did.

He was sort of a lazy boyfriend during season 2, but never abusive. The worst he did was tell Pam he didn't think it was worth it going to art school. Which, by the way, she dropped out of the moment she ran into difficulty. She seemed pretty happy with him for most of season 2 tbqh.

Then I would think you are not paying attention. Roy left her at the sports arena on their first date. Neglected her and refused to basically go to any events with her. Put her down. Etc.

Also didn't want to "hear about her feelings"

Roy's specifically implied to be a scumbag, which is why they do the bit with him hitting rock bottom and then changing himself.

Yeah, I bought one of those "Complete" digital packs on a PSN sale despite having the game on disc because it was cheaper than buying the Royal Edition and Season Pass separately.
