Definitely a possibility. Although it's also possible that they didn't find anything and really don't want to be at the center of a scandal that half the country is furious about shrugging their shoulders and saying they couldn't find anything. Their investigative abilities would become the punchline to many a joke.

Mad Men - watched the first three seasons. Bought them on DVD. Solid.
Six Feet Under - watched the whole thing. Except the last episode. Still haven't watched it a decade later. Tough to watch, but some of the best television.
The Americans - never saw it
The Leftovers - watched season 1. Again, it's thick. Like the emotional equivalent of a shot of jagermeister.
The Shield - no experience.

What they did so well with their maps was the variety of tactical considerations. There were maps with bottlenecks, others where you were fighting uphill, and others where you were assaulting a well fortified position or had your troops divided.

I think the key to analyzing the maps is to think about them categorically, and try to approach it from that angle.

Although, if you're doing more of a homage type of thing, I guess specific levels would be more of an appropriate contribution on my part. So I'll say, the series of levels when you go down through the library and end up in the labyrinth. Also that one with the really tall building in the middle with that one dude at the top where it's so fun to knock him off.

It's just that it's helpful when thinking about aspirations to pin down exactly what you want out of it. Sometimes you might even figure out its the secondary effect you care about more, and can broaden you horizons on ways to achieve it.

Those are the big ones that come to mind. Of course all of those only manage to put a game out once or twice a decade, so it usually only happens once a year.

There are some other companies that are smaller or have only put out a single game that I would extend the same courtesy to, but they haven't built enough of a reputation for me to even be sure if they'll put something out again. Red Hook, for instance.

It sounds like an interesting experience. If you don't have anything else going on, I say go for it.

I have dozens of old Game Infomer issues lying around from years ago. Actually, they're all in a stack somewhere. They aren't just lying around. Anyway, what do you think I should do with them?
