That's what makes the Avengers so great. They have multiple of all of them.

Banner/Hulk and Thor are the muscle. Banner and Stark are the brains. Cap and Stark have the leadership. Thor and Cap have the looks.

Sort of 4?

I have two that lay across the head of the bed and overlap a little bit. I usually sleep on my side and lay my head on the overlap part. Then I have another that I put under my chin and have my arms around. Then there's a fourth pillow that I use for leg support by holding it between my knees.

I feel like you'd walk away from the situation, never look into it and just imagine his life is amazing cause that time you told on him. When in reality he died in the gutter somewhere 2 days after that phone call

And I feel like you'd talk to him once, tell him "dude, this is stupid don't do this" and pretend you've done something useful, only to find him dead in the gutter somewhere 2 days after that conversation.

See? I can make stupid assumptions too!

Nobody's dying because their dad finds out about some drugs. Best case scenario, the dad gets involved with his son's life and gets him proper help from a therapist or physician. Worst case scenario he kicks the kid out of the house or cuts him off financially. Either way it's better than just allowing someone to get addicted to fucking meth.

You're the one living in a bubble if you think just talking to the friend is going to make literally any positive difference whatsoever.

Shut the fuck up.

No, it just makes the problem worse rather than corrects it.

TC could have helped said friend. Instead, said friend now knows never to trust TC again.

My advice would have been to be supportive and try to convince them not to. Not make things worse and probably stir up all kinds of shit in their personal life. Now said friend's life may be worse because of constant arguments with his parents due to them no longer trusting him.

Find a better solution. Snitching never helps.

This actually makes a lot of sense tbh.

You that's like friendship 101 stuff.

And friendship 301 is being able to see when your friend needs help that you can't provide and making sure he gets it even if the friend doesn't want it.

Time to move up from the entry-level friendship classes if you think "just talking to him" is the best option.

Quite the assumption you have there. Most parents don't abandon their kid because of a mistake. They try to help them or get them help from someone who knows what they're doing.

That being said, yes I would still say the same thing.

Would you say the same thing if he tried to talk to his friend about it, and because he didn't know how to actually handle the situation he only made it worse and his friend just started using more until he overdosed and died?

The game literally doesn't even generate the mines until after you select the first square. It is physically impossible to lose on the first move.

Maybe in recent releases, but I definitely remember it happening to me back in the 90's.

You are mistaken. It's been programmed that way from the very beginning.

https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/315335/is-it-possible-to-hit-a-mine-on-first-click

Basically:
1. It's not possible under normal play.
2. You can choose to restart a game instead of starting a new game, in which case the mines are kept in the same locations and you are literally given a warning that it is now possible to lose on the first click. This is not the same as simply starting the game and losing on the first click. You must actively manipulate to make it happen.
3. Stop shitposting.

EDIT:
4. Even using the cheat code to see where mines are, if you click on a mine on your first click you still won't lose. The game literally moves it out of the way for the first click.

Giving them tickets to a different lottery and most of them wouldn't know the difference. Telling them it costs more per play than it actually does (like charging them for the Megaplier without actually giving them the Megaplier on the ticket). Stuff like that.

It's pretty easy when the customer is dumb as bricks and has no idea what they're doing.

Those odds are shit, imo.

I am so fucking sick of these idiots who can't afford to be blowing their money on the lottery coming and and wasting hundreds of dollars on what is essentially a tax on stupidity. Especially because 90% of the people playing have never played before and have no idea how it even fucking works. I could be completely ripping them off and they would have no clue (I'm not, for the record, but I easily could be).

Also, I genuinely feel sorry for whoever does win it. Their life is basically over. I wish I could find the study again, but apparently people who win over $10 million in a lottery jackpot have about a 50% chance of being dead, destitute, or in prison within 10 years. It brings so many problems that people just don't expect and plan for that it completely ruins their lives and tears families apart.

Cause every movie I listed is pretty damn good.

BlackkKlansman
The Shape of Water
La La Land

And probably a couple others.

Those movies are great bro.

I'm sure if they're your style of film then they'd be great. But they're not mine. If someone says "I don't like romance movies" you're not going to recommend Sleepless in Seattle, are you? They're probably not going to enjoy it. Doesn't mean it's a bad movie. It's just not for them.

But none of those movies are even in the same style or genre, like, even remotely, so I don't understand your point.

Marston is a biopic.

Blackklansman is a comedy/drama.

The Shape of Water is a Fantasy Romance

La La Land is a musical.

I'm just trying to understand why those films are hard "never even gonna check these out ever".

Because I don't like dramas, romances, musicals, or biopics? I'm not sure why this is so hard for you to grasp, or why you're so butthurt over it. They're not my kind of movies. I won't find them entertaining. They're probably very good films technically speaking, but they simply would not likely be enjoyable for me.

Well people don't literally dance for 3 hours straight. You go out and dance to a few songs, then have a drink, talk with some friends or family you haven't seen in a while before going back to dance some more.

I think it's more open and sort of "do what you want" that way, rather than the more structured setup you're talking about. I wouldn't enjoy it as much if I felt like I HAD to dance right now because that's what's going on and it's not going to last long.
