I didn't check who had Hunt, but Suprak picked up Ware early this afternoon. I'm not sure whether to be upset or impressed that he's playing both Ware and Gus Edwards this week. At least he has other RBs of similar quality (at least in terms of Yahoo's projections.)

Now if I could just have a couple high quality receivers drop into my lap, I'd be set...as it is, I'm wishing I could play a TE in one of my WR slots.

This one here could have stopped after the first musical piece of the patchwork tune because it's one of the only 2 segments I really cared for out of the whole 19 minute song. The other is at about 15 minutes in tbh. Oh yeah speaking of that, wtf! lol Btw I hate the vocals in this song. It should have been strictly an instrumental imo.

It was still a release disaster. The fact that it pulled up out of the nosedive isn't really the point. In fact, it's kind of a case study on what not to do, followed by how to fix it if you do.

Holy crap these results this week.

So, I'm currently in 7th, which puts me on the outside looking in. And I'm up against the player who most deserves to not get boned (again!) by someone outscoring their average and pushing him further into the abyss. Sorry, Nick. Your 1600 pts before this week was 4th in the league, and you've gotten really screwed over by having the highest points against. I've had the second-highest, and I only feel like there was one week where I got completely whacked by the fantasy gods, whereas you've been shellacked repeatedly. Moment of silence for you.

But for my sake, I could not have engineered a better set of results. Literally everyone ahead of me lost except 2nd. It's looking like I might control my fate again after this week, since I should outscore the other 7-5's. And I have the weakest team in the league for the last regular season match-up while Corrik and Champs have playoff-bound opponents. So if I drop next week's match and get bounced from the play-offs, I deserved it.

I'd like to nominate Skjorn, from my own writing (literature). She's not the main character, but I often have the most fun writing her because she's such a total bitch and knows she can usually get away with it.

Brief summary: Skjorn is a centuries-old valkyrie who can summon a spear and armor at will. In addition to being a master at the spear, she can channel electricity through it. The spear she summons can be either two-handed or one-handed with a shield. Both arms and armor resemble Viking equipment. She can revive herself from death, however after doing so once, she cannot "rebirth" again for roughly another three days. As a valkyrie, she can also sense the souls of anyone nearby, which makes her almost impossible to sneak up on.

Physically, Skjorn is exceptionally tall and imposing (6'3", ~210). She prides herself on her strength, looks down on people she deems weak, and has an extremely nasty temper. She is arrogant, stubborn, and a terrible team player. She refuses to use any kind of technology and can be exceptionally short-sighted. She does not age or fatigue, meaning she does not need to sleep. She is mostly easily defeated by disabling her (tranqs, paralysis, binding her hands) or playing off her hubris.

I've generally been happy with mine, except there were a couple games that for some reason it wouldn't bring up. I couldn't figure out why. But it would have been an opportunity to play in front of my TV for the first time in years instead of sitting at my desk, which is kinda cramped. Update: Catastrophe was the Carolina Panthers kicker being fucking atrocious and Eric Ebron not seeing the ball one single time, and Matt Ryan somehow not being able to do anything against Dallas.

FML.

This was the one week I genuinely needed points from Ebron. I've had him benched way more than I should have because I also have Kittle, but this is Kittle's bye, so Ebron automatically got the nod this week, and....zero.

Then my opponent gets 15 from his defense, and plays a desperation RB that scores a TD as the only points the team gets in a 48-7 loss.

Technically I haven't lost yet, but I need Gurley to outscore Mahomes + Hill tomorrow night. Here's to hoping that game is all Rams, all the time.
