Anyway, I watched your second round last night, and it wasn't a 48, but it was a lot better. You were actually winning after Mushroom cup.

Mecha'Thun
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/mechathun/
10 mana 10/10
Deathrattle: If you have nothing left, win.
Rating: Dubious
Comment: Someone will find a way to make this work. I'm kinda curious if it will be at all reproducible, or anything more than just an extreme back-up strat. Most of the time, I expect this is just a Faceless Behemoth. I'm going to laugh if some druid plays this in a spell-heavy deck, and then drops Gloop like 4 turns later to resummon a M-C'T.

CONCLUSION: Based on neutral mech cards alone, I don't see a particularly viable strategy. It's going to take the support cards from a class or some non-mech minions to form some sort of cohesive strategy, because curvestone has not been a thing for a very long time, and none of these mechs really provide anything other than just stats and board presence...other than Mecha'Thun, of course. Or maybe....Meat Wagon??

Rusty Recycler
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/rusty-recycler/
5 mana 2/6
Taunt. Lifesteal.
Rating: Medium
Comment: This is a tough one to call. It's as good for healing as an Applebaum if it attacks twice (but with less damage), but the magnetic potential means this thing could be a monster. The question is if that's Timmy-bait.

E.M.P. Operative
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/e-m-p-operative/
5 mana 3/3
NOT a mech. Battlecry: Destroy a mech
Rating: High?
Comment: This expansion's going to be a bit of a fail if there isn't one good mech deck, but will it be worth teching in a 5 mana 3/3?

Wargear
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/wargear/
5 mana 5/5
Magnetic.
Rating: High
Comment: I've heard some people crap on this card, but I think this card is solid. 5/5 for 5 is okay if you can't do anything else with it, and being able to get 5 damage of "charge" makes this about as good as Leeroy if you've got a mech on board.

Zilliax
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/zilliax/
5 mana 3/2 Legendary
Magnetic, DS, Taunt, LS, Rush
Rating: Medium-high
Comment: I like Al'Akir. I don't like Zilliax as much. The Rush is only really useful if you're playing it naked, and as a naked card, a 3/2 rush with all those keywords for 5 probably isn't horrible, though I'd rather have it for 4. As a buff, though, giving a minion taunt, lifesteal, and divine shield could be incredibly brutal. The question is if 3/2 is the right distribution of stats. For the DS/LS, you'd want more attack. For the taunt, you'd want more life. 5 stats is equivalent to a 2-drop, so being that light on stats means you need to get real mileage out of those effects. At times this card could be amazing, but at others, I think it will come up short massively. I'm personally not in favor.

Missile Launcher
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/missile-launcher/
6 mana 4/4
Magnetic. At EOT, deal 1 to the rest of the board.
Rating: Medium-high
Comment: 4/4 for 6 isn't great, but this is like a Dreadlord buff attachable to any minion. Blessing of Kings, with an extra 2 mana for the Dreadscale effect. Come to think of it, why doesn't this have "Dread" in the name?

Spark Drill
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/spark-drill/
6 mana 5/1
Rush. Deathrattle: Add 2 1/1's with rush to hand.
Rating: Low
Comment: So pay 8, deal 7 damage? It does have the potential to clear one big threat and ping a couple more, but unless you're playing this with something like a Flametongue Totem, this really isn't going to be that good.

Damaged Stegotron
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/damaged-stegotron/
6 mana 5/12
Taunt. Starts with 6 damage.
Rating: High
Comment: Witchwood Grizzly 2.0. There's no ways to cheat out a mech, specifically, but all the cheat-out strategies still apply, or this can be good in a healing deck. I imagine priest in particular will love this card for the DS-IF potential.

Mechanical Whelp
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/mechanical-whelp/
6 mana 2/2
Deathrattle: Summon a 7/7
Rating: High
Comment: Risky card, since the 7/7 isn't up front, but in a deathrattle deck, this has strong potential. Put this in hunter, trigger it a few times...what's a Devilsaur Egg? (Egg is still better because it costs 3, but hey, this is a nice back-up plan.)

Bull Dozer
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/bull-dozer/
9 mana 9/7
Divine Shield.
Rating: Low
Comment: Force Tank Max is back!

Bronze Gatekeeper
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/bronze-gatekeeper/
3 mana 1/5
Taunt. Magnetic.
Rating: High
Comment: Talk about a potential aggro killer. Get this on a Framebot, and 2/10 taunt. Or on anything, really. Even solo, it's not bad, although obviously you'd rather have a Tar Creeper.

Kaboom Bot
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/kaboom-bot/
3 mana 2/2
Deathrattle: 4 damage to enemy minion
Rating: Medium
Comment: Not sure how I feel here. It's like Bomb Lobber, but cheaper. That's either going to make it great, or terrible, because at 3, four damage might be overkill...but it's also likely to take *something* with it, at least.

Spring Rocket
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/spring-rocket/
3 mana 2/1
Battlecry: Deal 2 damage
Rating: Medium-low
Comment: C'Thun panda in mech form. The fact that it's a mech honestly probably matters little. It's a worse version of Fireplume Phoenix.

Alarm-o-Bot
EXISTING
3 mana 0/3
Start of turn: Summon random minion, return to hand.

Demolisher
EXISTING
3 mana 1/4
Start of turn: deal 2 randomly

Harvest Golem
EXISTING
3 mana 2/3
Deathrattle: Summon a 2/1

Meat Wagon
EXISTING
4 mana 1/4
Deathrattle: Summon minion from deck w/ less attack
Comment: Suddenly not useless with magnetic! I'm kinda curious what *could* happen with Meat Wagon now.

Steel Rager
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/steel-rager/
4 mana 5/1
Rush
Rating: Boo!
Comment: Who wants a four-mana rager? I don't care if it was done for balance. This is a loss for aesthetics. And incidentally, pay 4 deal 5 is probably done better by most classes with another card.

Coppertail Impostor
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/coppertail-imposter/
4 mana 4/4
Battlecry: Stealth 1 turn
Rating: Medium
Comment: For when you need a card to stick to the board for your Wargear.

Explodinator
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/explodinator/
4 mana 3/2
Battlecry: Summon 2 Goblin Bombs
Rating: Low
Comment: See Whirliglider.

Piloted Reaper
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/piloted-reaper/
4 mana 4/3
Deathrattle: Summon 2-drop from your hand
Rating: Medium-low
Comment: Okay for tempo, but it's no Piloted Shredder since PS got you a free minion, and this one costs you a card. OTOH, *maybe* there's a strategy here with some overstatted 2 drop like Millhouse. Doubt that's worth the trouble, though.

Replicating Menace
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/replicating-menace.png
4 mana 3/1
Deathrattle: Summon three 1/1 mechs.
Rating: Medium
Comment: So 4 mana for 6/4 is good. But there's also a good possibility the 3 mechs just get mopped up. However, this is potentially good in a token deck, so I'm going to give this the benefit of the doubt.

Weaponized Pinata
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/weaponized-pinata/
4 mana 4/3
Deathrattle: Add random legendary to hand
Rating: Medium
Comment: Flashy, but not great. A free legendary is no guarantee of getting a good card. Still, it is *a* card, should value be relevant in this metagame.

MECH TIME:

Goblin Bomb
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/goblin-bomb/
1 mana 0/2
Deathrattle: 2 damage to enemy hero
Rating: low
Comment: Blizzard seems to be pushing this goblin bomb thing, but I don't think it's gonna work. You summon these leper gnomes that can't attack, and then have to trigger them. Yes, hunter can run a bunch of deathrattle triggers, along with the double deathrattle dude, but in the meanwhile, you can just punch them in the face. I think the goblin bomb tactic is only going to work in a control deck that doesn't have healing...and there aren't many of those.

Skaterbot
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/skaterbot/
1 mana 1/1
Magnetic. Rush.
Rating: low
Comment: He was a skater bot. She said see ya later, bot. Don't want no cards that just buff rush. Now he's a magnet buff, on a 9 mana tough, getting its divine shield to crush.

Faithful Lumi
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/faithful-lumi/
1 mana 1/1
Battlecry: +1/+1 to mech
Rating: low
Comment: Well, it's better than Skater Bot since it gives the 1/1 and remains its own card. Most of the time the rush is unimportant. But there are times where the smallest of buffs is enough to make the difference, so even though this is worse than some of the paladin buffs that never see play, maybe an aggro mech deck will want this, if there is such a thing. (I'm not thinking there will be, TBH.)

Mecharoo
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/mecharoo/
1 mana 1/1
Deathrattle: Summon a 1/1 mech
Rating: High
Comment: This is the best mech for a zoo-like deck. Dunno there'll be a mech zoo deck, but this is Possessed Villager 2.0.

Scorp-o-Matic
EXISTING
2 mana 1/2
Destroy minion 0 or 1 attack

Galvanizer
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/galvanizer/
2 mana 1/2
Battlecry: Reduce cost of mechs in hand by 1
Rating: Low
Comment: Meh, you'd have to have a pretty critical mass of mechs or something you *really* wanted to play on curve. I don't see many high cost mechs outside of warrior, and even the warrior mechs don't strike me as benefitting massively.

Whirliglider

https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/whirliglider/
2 mana 2/1
NOT a mech. Battlecry: Summon a goblin bomb.
Rating: Low
Comment: So when a Murloc Raider and a Leper Gnome love each other very much...see Goblin Bomb. However, these battlecries make me laugh at the thought of summoning a zillion goblin bombs with Shudderwock, and then killing them with Hagatha's battlecry.

Spark Engine
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/spark-engine/
2 mana 2/1
Battlecry: Add a 1/1 with rush to hand.
Rating: Medium-low
Comment: This is another decent mech rush card for controlling the early board. However, the fact that the 1/1 goes to hand makes it far less good. Getting the effect for 2 mana is solid. For 3 is not.

Unpowered Mauler
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/unpowered-mauler/
2 mana 2/4
Can't attack unless you cast spell this turn
Rating: Low
Comment: Outclassed by the next card.

Upgradable Framebot
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/upgradeable-framebot/
2 mana 1/5
Vanilla.
Rating: Very High
Comment: If ever you needed a sticky minion, this was it. I predict this will get run in decks that aren't mech decks if they need bodies on board early. It's also a fantastic target for low-cost magnetics, ilke...

Star aligner doesn't seem that hard especially in priest.

Stick a 7 health stealth (tiger + PW: shield)

Next turn:

Injured blademaster + circle of healing + star aligner

There are plenty of other ways you can manipulate a 7 hp to stick and then its just ac3 card combo that you run 2 copies of.

And then what do you do to win? Yeah, you just swept your opponent's board and dealt them 7, but you haven't won and they can probably answer it. Meanwhile, how many resources have you devoted to the clear?

But hey, it's still war golem in the worst of cases.

Nothing to do with the rating, but what is everyones guess on how long it's going to take for a streamer to climb to legend with this?

Successfully? I'm going to bed they can't do it. Not from any appreciable level. But you know there are going to be people trying from day 1.

And no, Star Aligner's probably not going to happen, but I'm just predicting someone finds something crazy that makes it work in a way that's not ludicrously impractical. Just like I figure someone's going to make Mecha'Thun work. (Actually, I think that will happen. It just won't be the primary strat for the deck.)

Loose Specimen
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/loose-specimen/
Rating: Low
Comment: So, on an open board, it's a Pit Fighter with +1 attack. At any other time, the only upside is killing off your deathrattle minions. However, that *MIGHT* end up being a strategy, so don't rule it out.

Microtech Controller
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/microtech-controller/
Rating: Medium
Comment: It's basically Muster for Battle, but with one dude getting +1 attack rather than a hammer. Granted, the other two are mechs, and that might factor into some kind of token mech strategy, but I haven't seen many cards to support that. So at a glance, this seems terrible, but token druid is going to LOVE her, I bet.

Omega Defender
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/omega-defender/
Rating: Medium-high
Comment: I think people are sleeping on this one. A 2/6 taunt for 4 isn't fantastic, but if you're in a control deck whose games go long, this transitions perfectly from being an aggro stopper to being a late-game threat. I personally think this card is borderline insane, considering you can drop two of them on turn 10 and still have mana left over.

Seaforium Bomber
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/seaforium-bomber/
Rating: Has potential
Comment: Warrior used to have a card that did the same thing, and the bomb did 10 damage. That saw very little play. However, by being neutral, and on a 5/5 for 5 (which is respectable,) I think this card will see experimentation. I think it's more likely it would fit better in a goes-in-your-deck strategy than in-your-opponent's-deck, but we'll take what we can get. Especially with that shuffle dude and maybe some bounce effects. Who knows? Unlikely, but maybe.

Star Aligner
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/star-aligner/
Rating: Either terrible or fantastic
Comment: ...but probably terrible. I'm waiting for someone to figure this card out, because it totally could happen, but I don't know the upside is worth the trouble.

Subject 9
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/subject-9/
Rating: Medium-high
Comment: I think this card is hilarious. It's not Mysterious Challenger, but being able to pick the use of the secrets actually might make it better in some ways. Probably best used in hunter, since there's not much in the way of secret tech left in mage right now, but I see it as plausible. Paladin is unlikely, and rogue just doesn't have enough secrets. (Where are our new rogue secrets, Blizz?)

Toxicologist
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/toxicologist/
Rating: High
Comment: Oh dear, just when I thought Kingsbane rogue might be fading from lack of support. Not fantastic in other contexts, but we've seen cards like this before...including one that's strictly better.

Whizbang the Wonderful
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/whizbang-the-wonderful/

Comment: This is not a card for competitive play. It has it's place, but climbing ladder isn't it. I'm kinda curious if this can be picked in arena, though.

Alright, you know what? Let's do this. I wrote up quick thoughts for all the NON-MECH NEUTRALS. If this goes over, we'll do mechs tomorrow, the mech classes the day after, and we'll hit the other classes on the weekend.

Arcane Dynamo
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/arcane-dynamo/
Rating: low
Comment: There are some classes that might profit from this. Discovering a spell 5+ probably benefits classes like mage and druid mostly. I'm not going to look at the complete spell list, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's *one* class that ends up liking this guy. Especially in a Spiteful deck.

Augmented Elekk
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/augmented-elekk/
Rating: high potential
Comment: Spider tank with upside. The ability could lead to a LOT of spiders, or Un'goro packs, or rogue gang up dude procs. There might be a deck there with those and the pogo hoppers, but somehow I doubt it. I think this card's probably overrated.

Brainstormer
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/brainstormer/
Rating: awful
Comment: It *could* be a 3/10, but realistically even in a spell-heavy deck, it wouldn't be better than a 3/5. And if you're running a spell-heavy deck, do you want *this* to be your minion of choice?

Cloakscale Chemist
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/cloakscale-chemist/
Rating: low
Comment: Stealth and Divine Shield were kinda maybe okay on Silent Knight, but on a 1/2 for 2? Highly unlikely this will be used unless someone REALLY wants a sticky minion.

Crystallizer
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/crystallizer/
Rating: awesome
Comment: A 1/3 for 1 is always going to get attention. This one also puts damage on your hero without actually losing life, which facilitates damage strategies, healing strategies, and just generally strengthens a priest game. This is potentially a fantastic card.

Electrowright
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/electrowright/
Rating: low
Comment: Much better than Brainstormer because at least it's more consistent. Reminds me of the 4/4 for 3 in GvG, but with a condition some decks -- notably big mage -- will fill pretty easily. Still, I don't know if a 4/4 for 3 is actually *good* in 2018.

Giggling Inventor
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/giggling-inventor/
Rating: high
Comment: Superb anti-aggro tech. If odd paladin becomes a problem, this guy is going to be everywhere. Also could be useful in mech decks, so maybe he should get mentioned on the mech list, too, but mostly I just see him as a 2/1 that deploys two annoy-o-trons.

Harbinger Celestia
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/harbinger-celestia/
Rating: awful
Comment: A 4 mana 5/6 with stealth, and no immediate downside, and it's terrible! Unless I'm misinterpreting, your opponent just has to drop a 1/1 and that's now what you have to show for 4 mana. Only time I see this being good is if you're playing against big priest. Too easy to play around most of the time.

Holomancer
https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cards/holomancer/
Rating: Abysmal
Comment: So each time your opponent creates a minion -- from a card -- you get a 1/1 copy. In niche cases, maybe a token generator. But I cannot think of situations outside of mirror matches where I'm likely to want the specific minions my opponent has teched into his deck. I guess maybe in some cases, it keeps some nasty deathrattles off the board until he's dealt with...but it's a 3/3 for 5.

I watched that video when it first went up. It was decent, and I appreciated it for what it is, but it didn't become an earworm for me.

Correct but the 1st is the Total Sum of placements out of 1,300. The 2nd is the Sum of Placements out of 260.

In that case, what's the point of deriving the quotient?

That's Cass Martin, who, if I haven't nominated in the past, I'm more than happy to throw into the ring.

Is it obligatory that muscular girls have to tan themselves until they are a dry husk?

I'm not sure what you mean. She's naturally tan, and works outside in construction. I definitely prefer pictures of her where she isn't flexing, though.

I can appreciate muscle on a woman, and like Bakhar better than Megan overall, but those thighs are ridiculous. This is more my speed:

Did they say what they want in such a spec-script? Length? Tone? Purpose -- i.e. main quest / sidequest material or something else entirely?

I'm kinda tempted to try applying, tbh. I've been writing novels as a hobby for the last 5 years, and doing a lot of critique groups to improve.

I dunno what a spec-script is.

Borderlands writing is focused on good, punchy dialogue, and generally being absurd and over the top. At least the side quests are. The main quest is slightly more coherent, I guess, but still full of jackasses and shenanigans.
